Note: This is the fourth in a 10-part series at PJ Media examining what our nation’s top 10 law schools – according to U.S. News and World Report – are teaching. J. Christian Adams and I are undertaking a deep dive into what is being taught in these law schools. We have already covered Yale, Stanford, and Chicago.
If you thought based on our coverage of the curriculums at Yale, Stanford, and Chicago that you had seen the worst of the political indoctrination that passes for a law school education these days, wait until you see the curriculum at the Colombia Law School in New York City.
Parents are paying $331,350 — or students are going into enormous debt — for what amounts to a three-year reeducation camp at Columbia to produce leftist social warriors who will, as Christian says, “upend centuries of legal traditions and institutions,” including trashing the U.S. Constitution, to usher in the Marxist, socialist utopia they think we should be. And just like the other schools we are examining, everything is centered not on training budding lawyers to analyze a legal issue and provide sound advice to a client or to serve as an effective prosecutor who can protect the public from dangerous criminals, but rather on convincing students that we live in a systematically racist, sexist society engaging in mass incarceration for political reasons.

One would think that all these “woke” law schools are not familiar with the phrase “consent of the governed” that lives somewhere there in the beginnings of our nation. Sooner or later, we’ll tell them where they can shove their “laws”.
That’s right!
“673 university professors sign letter opposing courses on America’s founding, Constitution”
If they hate America so bad, they should just leave and never return! I have nothing but contempt for these commie swine!
Yes. This is also where the FBI recruits its new hires.
Yeah thats not what socialists do.
There’s one way to educate them about it. In fact, there’s even a constitutional amendment that provides the necessary educational tools.
Does Columbia really surprise anyone? The cradle for the old red diaper babies? That, and New York University are the seedbeds of anti-American poisons.
.
Someone said “First, shoot all the lawyers” Was that Mark Twain? I guess that would mean their professors first, lest they reproduce/S....sarcasm of course/S
The leftist lawyers are the first ones the Commie dictatorships send to the firing squad.
They are the perfect useful idiots.
Are you aware of any law schools that teach traditional law?
Second, and I admit I couldn’t read through the nauseating article, how do social justice marxists pass state bar exams?
“Are you aware of any law schools that teach traditional law?”
I am aware of a few law schools that teach traditional law. Look in red conservatives states.
University of Tennessee for example. Course offerings are:

University of Georgia is another example. Course offerings are:
http://www.law.uga.edu/course-offerings
I meant to include University of Alabama Law as well.
Course offerings here: https://www.law.ua.edu/courseguide/courses/index/page:1
If you know of someone thinking of entering law school, recommend a school such as one of those and have them search the courses offered before looking for admission into any school. There is no benefit in going to a law school that doesn’t actually teach law.
Law School does not teach the law, it teaches how to use your brain to think like a lawyer. A law school is absolutely worthless if it teaches CRT or other woke garbage because that crap does not require the use of your brain and actively discourages it.
“Law School does not teach the law, it teaches how to use your brain to think like a lawyer.”
Law schools should teach your brain to think like a lawyer. That is correct. But, if you have not learned the Rules of Evidence and are representing a person charged with a crime, thinking like Vinnie does not always win the case. The same with Contracts and Property Law. If you don’t know the law you will end up disbarred or worse when you fail to properly represent your client.
There are still a few law schools who teach the courses necessary to obtain the knowledge to be a good lawyer. The trick is to carefully research the schools to make sure you find the right schools. I would stay away from the US News ranked top 15 or so. Most of them are “woke” and indoctrinate into activism rather than teach law.

Well, I searched by title and it did not show up as already posted.
