Erdogan has an election coming, and polling doesn’t look good for him. For now, he must appease both the moderates and the head choppers. Should he win, he will “have more flexibility after the election”. Should he lose, his opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, has stated he will admit Sweden. Either way, I predict Sweden will join Finland in NATO by the end of the year.
Sweden was always getting into NATO. Erdogan had to appease the extremists prior to the election. Now it's just a negotiation of what price Erdogan can set. There's even a slight chance it happens next week at Vilnius.

Russians are whining that Ukraine is using HIMARS on front line positions and trenches as part of tonight’s big offensive in Zaporizhia. Russians also saying they stopped the initial Ukrainian advance but started whining again when Ukraine attacked again with reinforcements.
