Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The decline of Russia means the Rise of New Ottoman Turkey.

A new baddie always replaces the last baddie.

(ARVN) “were holding their own, then the dem congress cut all funding... Defeat was snatched from the jaws of potential success.”

What a tragedy that was for the people of South Vietnam.

Not only were the Northerners communists, but they had longstanding cultural differences and animosities to the Southerners, and harshly rode roughshod over them after they conquered the South (especially the first ~15 years, before the war with China).

I have heard a lot of horror stories of life under the communists. Meat rations were only 1/4 pound per month, so that they got to like the taste of rat meat. A lady I know had to barefoot for three years, unable to afford shoes, and so on.

Things are dramatically better today economically, but Southerners are still second class citizens, and Communist propaganda is still quite strident.

“some of the impact of the Trump negotiated United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement was hidden by COVID, but is now becoming apparent.”

There is a surge in re-shoring manufacturing to the USA, Mexico and Canada from China.

Factory construction and Capital Expenditures in the USA are now at multi-decade highs.

“The decline of Russia means the Rise of New Ottoman Turkey.”

It would definitely help Turkish power to rise relative to Russia, but Erdogan may squander the opportunity with his own poor economic policies and corruption. Inflation in Turkey was still running hot at 38.2% in June 2023 (down from a peak of around 85% last year), because of Erdogan’s excessive money printing.

Oil and gas flows out of the Black Sea are a big prize up for grabs in this war. Whoever comes away with them will be stronger for it.

Please. Minor at $500 Million a day? The Obama/Soros gang showed up in 2014 and before long the American satrapy was the most corrupt country in the world. The perfect manure field for Uniparty/McCain/Obama/Biden/Soros Unlimited, Inc. to prosper. Go back and watch the “perfect phone call impeachment”. You saw them in all their glory as they impeached Trump for turning over the rock the VERY SAME Uke and DC oligarchs running the war were divvying up Ukraine under. These idiots must have assumed the Russians wouldn’t notice. You have no clue what’s going on. The US lost 56,000 boys in ten years. NATO weaponry, a large percentage of it targeted by Americans, is responsible for killing anywhere from the Tass figure of 35,000 dead Russian troops and civilians to Western estimates of hundreds of thousands in one year. By the way Ukraine is on the Russian border, a days tank ride from Moscow. Hanoi, 10,000 miles away from us. Vietnam, first domino. Ukraine, 16th and final domino.

I don’t think it will happen on Erdogan’s watch, but he’s certainly setting the table for it.

Minor in that we aren’t there killing Russians as the Russians were killing us in Vietnam.

Ukraine was not the most corrupt in the world then, and today Ukraine is far less corrupt than Russia.

Russia should never have tried to conquer Ukraine, win or lose Russia has set itself back for decades, and helped NATO/US immensely.

The decline of Russia means the Rise of New Ottoman Turkey.

As much as they would like to, Turkey has no ability to expand in the north/west. In the east. Georgia and Azerbaijan would probably ally with Turkey, and Armenia would be easy pickings. Maybe Russia's Caucuses declare independence or even side with Turkey depending on which way the wind blows, but that's about as far as it could go. Beyond that, Russia would probably use nukes to defend their sovereign territory. Syria would fall, and Europe would get the pipelines from the Middle East that Russia has been blocking.

But Russia still has huge oil and gas reserves. A "declined" Russia just looks like a more corrupt Saudi Arabia. Now if the Eastern republics free themselves, say east of the Urals, then Muscovy becomes North Korea. But that only happens if China backs them, and at that point, the old saying "why buy the cow when the milk is free" applies. China will already control Russia.

Virtually everything you just stated makes the world a more dangerous place.

The world is safer when balance exists. Without Russia, especially in Asia and Europe, balance is lost. Russia may have been over estimated because of its war stocks, but that kept balance. I am not a Putin fan, but balance and mutual respect builds peaceful co-existence.

The United States is now a manufacturing joke, and nearly half its working age people do not work. The US consumes drugs and sex trade victims at a freighting pace. Now, there is but one superpower, China. What will China do next? Will it remain an internally focused nation, or will it’s policies destabilize the world?

Putin expedition did no one a favor, except the Chinese, IMHO.

Strelkov Igor Ivanovich #KRP
Miroslava Reginskaya, wife of Igor Strelkov:

Today, at about 11:30, representatives of the investigative committee came to us. I was not at home at that time. Soon, according to the concierge, they took my husband by the arms and took him away in an unknown direction.

From friends, I managed to find out that my husband was charged under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (extremism).

I do not know anything about the whereabouts of my husband, he did not get in touch.
At the time of my arrest, I was not at home.

Kremlin snuffbox
A new wave of mobilization starts in Russia: why it has already been called “meat”

In the fall, Russians will face a big wave of mobilization, but they will actively recruit troops in August.

The reason is simple - after the withdrawal of Wagner units from the front, some sections of the collision line were weakened. In particular, there were fewer opportunities for assaults in the Artemovsk area.

“The mobilization of 50 thousand is being prepared urgently. These are in the” meat units”, attack aircraft.

They are promised to be prepared, but objectively - in the second half of September they will be thrown into assaults at the most. For now, they are plugging holes with what they have,” says our source in Ministry of Defense.

According to him, it is precisely with this that the increased responsibility for evaders is connected. At the same time, not everyone in the General Staff agrees with the practice of “meat assaults.”

Some generals are in favor of more frequent use of armored vehicles and drones during assaults.

But there is a nuance - the reserves of “armor” are quickly running out, the military-industrial complex, even on a military basis, cannot cope with the restoration of the lost potential.

Moreover, the loss of equipment greatly upsets the president, and no one in their right mind wants to bring bad news to him.

Therefore, they say in the General Staff, they are looking for an alternative option - the mobilized will still be prepared and sent into battle in off-road vehicles reinforced with armor.

Also, a source in the General Staff said that a project to recruit backward and “morons” to combat operations was launched in a pilot version.

A group of 30 inferior fighters was selected and they were sent to positions in the Svatovo region. Half of the group died in the first battle.

What does “leave them alone” mean? Let Russia take what they want, I realize that Ukraine is not part of NATO, but the point of NATO is to stop Russian aggression. Perhaps it can be said that Vietnam, iraq and Afghanistan didn’t want our “help”, but Ukraine does. The rest of the world is not fighting in Ukraine like we did in Korea, Vietnam, iraq, Libya, Afghanistan. the Ukrainians are and if they want it to end the populace have a way of making that happen. IMO the everyday Ukrainian is willing to fight to keep the jackboot of Russia off their necks.
The Russians fighting and dying are probably wondering what they are fighting for.
Now Russia is again weaponizing food, okay all’s fair in love and war, but is that where you want to be
We will disagree but I spent almost forty years in the military to give you that right, just because we disagree does not give you the right to disparage me or others who disagree with you. Neocon, nazi, might as well say racist or bigot for all those words mean.

“Utterly “?
Not seeing that yet, perhaps it will happen as politicians ultimately call the shots and we know how qualified most of them are.

As of now not seeing that

I wonder if they were even issued a rifle. If so, was the rifle a Mosin–Nagant.

Have always thought that China would take the opportunity to expand into eastern Russia, but I don’t see China being in such great shape as many say.

There are lots of internal issues with their economy that are being hushed, real estate market for one, manufacturing moving out another, and I think they have a looming food issue coming
Time will tell

Strelkov Igor Ivanovich #KRP
Today, July 21, 2023, it became known that Igor Ivanovich Strelkov, a Russian military, state and political figure, a hero of the Novorossiya militia, was detained in his apartment in Moscow.

Igor Ivanovich is known to the country as a person who does not compromise in matters of protecting the national interests of Russia. This principled position compels his enemies and the enemies of our country to use methods of slander and provocation against him.

Igor Ivanovich openly and reasonably criticized the actions of government officials, including the president, but the freedom of speech provided by the state testified that the country’s leadership complied with Article 29 of the Russian Constitution.

Today, confidence in this is undermined - we see that processes are taking place in our country that indicate the departure of government representatives from basic values.

Recently, after the events of June 24 of this year, Igor Ivanovich consistently sought condemnation at the state level of the actions of an illegal armed group - PMC “Wagner” and the activities of its leader Prigozhin E.V., which caused open threats against him.

His detention coincided with an attempt to split the organization “Angry Patriots Club” on the issue of the organization’s attitude towards PMC “Wagner” and the consequences that the continued existence of armed and trained mercenaries, including criminals, not burdened by the oath of Russia, has for our country and our people .

We believe that today’s detention undermines the confidence of the country’s population in law enforcement agencies, that it is a continuation of the dishonest fight against Igor Ivanovich and has extremely negative consequences for the stability of the country in the conditions of the North-Eastern Military District.

We express our unconditional support to Igor Ivanovich, as the leader of the “Angry Patriots Club”, we demand that law enforcement officers release Strelkov and make public all those who ordered another provocation.

Companions of Igor Ivanovich Strelkov

“The United States is now a manufacturing joke”

A lot of investment is going into American manufacturing capacity now. It is a multi-year process, but it is now well under way (thank you President Trump, tariffs on China, Chinese Government overreach into businesses and their intellectual property, and COVID supply chain disruptions).

Factory construction and Capital Expenditure are at multi-decade highs this year in the USA (Mexico and Canada are both also surging), as a lot of businesses are pulling their supply chains out of China.

The biggest semiconductor manufacturing facilities now being built, are in Texas.

It is a slow process, but it is happening.
