Meh, these kinds of “signs” can be read to fit just about any time period.
There’s one sign that will be unmistakable though, and that hasn’t happened yet.
And, may I add that even the timid must come forward and fearlessly witness for Christ. No time to lose and so many who need to hear. You needn’t worry about your effectiveness for God will bring forth fruit from your effort. Witness as though it is life or death because it is.

The lesson of that story is not that Chicken Little might at some point be right. The point of that story is that even if Chicken Little eventually is right, by then, nobody would listen to Chicken Little because Chicken Little had been wrong so many times before they had no credibility left.

And I see no political escape from what is coming. A Trump election might slow things down but that is all. Politically there would have to be a massive reset aka revolution and those can and do usually break bad toward the violent left.
We are now communist China. The USA I knew, except for a few places and people, is gone.

It’s been the end times since Christ’s crucifixation. His return was imminent according to the early church. And for that matter I’ve heard the 7 year claim for almost 70 years. I’ve sort of given up.
Frankly, that’s what a lot of religion is based on. While the evil seem to prosper on earth, they will get their just due in the afterlife Lake of Fire.
The greed for power has been from the beginning of human kind the war fever is powerful few survive the power they seek.

There have been wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilence and bad weather since the Pleistocene. I might start taking this “end times” stuff somewhat more seriously if someone can point to me a Bible verse that says something like, “yea verily, the hosts of the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Turkey shall sweep down upon the Land of Israel in the Year of our Lord 2023.”
Sure it has.
Israel is a nation again, and that’s what all the rest of the signs hinge on.

NOBODY is giddy over the thought of those they know and love spending eternity in hell.
