The purpose of this movie is to re-familiarize us about nuclear war. Just in time for the CIA to release a nuke in Ukraine and make it look like Putin did it.
Everyone know Oppenheimer was a card carrying Commie... in his own lifetime as well...along with many of his co workers
Why would the film be truthful about that... if they want yo sell tickets?
The sound levels in movies drives me nuts these days. Back in the day TV stations leveled the audio in shows and movies so as to protect from inadvertent overloads going to the transmitter. Consequently you could watch a war flick at two in the morning, have the sound practically off and hear every whisper and explosion without it waking everyone up in the house. The sound effects, dialog and music in movies are mixed at different levels with the music seeming to be the loudest. If you can hear the dialog the music when it comes in will blow your ears out. A leveling amp or compressor will get it all to one level but there’s no where to insert one these days with streaming.
