From day one of his campaign he was listening to the Karl Rove’s of political consultants and big money donors, not the people. I seriously think his instinct is to play to the people but he keeps get slapped down by donors. One even gave him an ultimatum last week. It doesn’t matter what his core values are since he acquiesces to the money. That is the only principle that he has. It wouldn’t change if he were elected President.

DeSantis should have said that while opinions may differ, there was now well-documented news suppression by the FBI and other federal agencies with Big Tech and enough irregularities and ballot manipulations by the Democrats that the losing side cannot be confident in the honesty of the 2020 election. And then he should have cited examples, with praise for Florida enhancing election integrity. For extra points, DeSantis could have gone on to show how US national elections now fall below international standards in key respects.

It’s tough to avoid FEELING SORRY for DeSantis. It’s OBVIOUS that he wasn’t ready to run against Trump, likely didn’t even want to run, but his Hillary-clone wife, or Christina Pushaw, led him to believe that he could actually be viable.
