He was being asked if the election was stolen. And instead of answering he played more of his cute word games, so that people like you could claim he never said the election wasn’t stolen. The theft of 2020 is too important of an issue for coy side-stepping like what we’ve seen from DeSantis. It demands clear answers, not vague deliberately ambiguous lawyer-speak.

I doubt DeSantis would be any different than any other Republican President since Nixon.
He’s part of the Republican political tribe, which means he’ll do what’s necessary as a leader without being a rigid ideologue.
Also, even though I’m against DeSantis in the primary, my political position is not to write a political obituary for a person that can help us in the future.
DeSantis has potential so he’ll get consideration in the future.
We all know he was up to his ass in alligators.
Hating him is one thing. Many do. Failing to understand why he had trouble getting everything done is another matter entirely.
Desantis said that the election fraud( which very likely occurred in 2020) has not been substantiated. That is 100% correct.

We’ve used secret ballots since the 1880’s or 1890’s, which means its impossible to verify a voting record with a voter.
Sherlock Holmes couldn’t prove either side of the issue.

Look guys, I’ve tried to tell folks for a while Desantis is NOT what he tries to sell himself as.
The GOP money men do not care about you, they don’t want you to be safe, secure, or our nation to be strong... they are happy to rape this country into non existence as long as they get to pad their pockets in the process.
This reality that few want to accept is the very reason TRUMP is what he is in politics. He has enough personal wealth that he can speak what he believes and is not completely beholden to the establishment money.
Why do you think TRUMP was the only one talking about the damage “free” trade had done to this nation, or illegal immigration or anything else? It was a huge issue to you, but it was not something anyone was going to touch because they knew if they did their money men would cut them off. So the nation kept getting raped, and not a damn thing was done about it.
Desantis is an establishment shill... it was beyond obvious when he couldn’t backtrack fast enough from the rather innocuous statement that Ukraine war was a territorial dispute. Back then folks tried to argue with me about it... are those folks finally going to admit the truth? Or keep arguing with me?
The establishment GOP and the Democrats do not give a damn about this country, or her people... PERIOD. We have to take it back, the money men don’t care.. they are EVIL people.. no matter how much they try to convince you otherwise.
All you had to do is watch the little interviews that Tucker did a few weeks back, he exposed every single one of them.. what they care about, and what you care about are oceans apart... why? Because what they care about are what make their establishment donors happy, and you and this nation mean nothing to them... what is important to you is irrelevant to them.
It isn’t that they don’t know they are out of touch with you, its that they flat out DONT CARE... they think they can keep pissing on your leg and telling you its rain like they have for decades and you will dutifully follow their marching orders and be the good little peons and vote for them.

The brief, but powerful interviews conducted by Tucker were genius. I recall reading about them and it was refreshing.

I go for facts. I look at who was inaugurated. Who gives the state of the Union. I also looked at the 63 lawsuits thrown out by trump judges. However, I will be alert during the trial when trump proves the election was stolen. That’s fair.
I had hoped that one of the 63 lawsuits that were given to trump judges in many cases would have proved fraud. Unfortunately we haven’t seen the smoking gun yet. Maybe during the trial.
This is just stupid.
Can we not just agree that DeSantis is a good governor for Florida, and doesn’t currently appear to be a good candidate for president?

He made a bargain with the devil. As long he continues on that path then, yes he needs to be destroyed - politically speaking. Cruz has salvaged his career somewhat, since he disqualified himself from future presidential consideration in 2016. That’s the only path open for DeSantis if he wants to get back in the good graces of the base.
He needs to stop pretending he’s something he’s not. He’s not independent and he’s not a leader. If he chooses to help the movement rather than continue trying to hi-jack it, then maybe he will have a constructive role to play in the future.
