That’s tight, thanks for confirming the “shell game” that Trump played on his donors, where he took donations from them under the guise it would be used fight for the 2020 election, but actually moved that money into his general fund for rallies and trips instead.

And I am on high moral ground when pointing this out, because back in January of 2021, right here on FR, I was defending Trump from those who were on here saying that it was all just a scam. I didn’t want to believe it for almost two years. But at some point, you just have to admit you were wrong, if you believe in integrity.
The ‘big rip-off’: how Trump exploited his fans with ‘election defense’ fund
At 8.38pm on 4 November 2020, the day after America had gone to the polls to elect its next president, Donald Trump sent out a message to hundreds of thousands of his supporters from the email address contact@victory.donaldtrump.com.
By then it was already clear that not only was victory eluding Trump, but that he was heading towards defeat. Not that you would have known it from Trump’s email.
“Friend,” it began. “The Democrats are trying to STEAL the Election. I’ve activated the Official Election Defense Fund and I need EVERY PATRIOT, including YOU, to step up and make sure we have enough resources to PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF OUR ELECTION.”
Over the next nine weeks Trump bombarded his loyal followers with a blitzkrieg of emails, sometimes 25 in a single day. millions of emails sent out from the @victory.donaldtrump.com address essentially said the same thing. They exhorted Trump supporters to back the “Official Election Defense Fund” with their hard-earned dollars.
“If EVERY Patriot chips in $5, President Trump will have what it takes to DEFEND the Election and WIN!” said the email that was transmitted on 10 November – three days after Biden’s victory had been sealed.
There was only one problem with this epic flurry of emails: the Official Election Defense Fund did not exist.
Doesn’t take away the fact that 63 lawsuits were filled and majority dismissed. No standing still means the lawsuit failed.
God knows the truth and He will allow what He wants even when evil is afoot because at some point He will deal with every single person and judge them accordingly to what they did, or could have but did not do.

Exactly. I’m very comfortable with my preference for DeSantis over Trump for many reasons right along those lines.
He’s everything you don’t want in a president. For that matter, he’s turning into everything you don’t want in a governor. He’s put Florida behind him. He’s a lame duck governor so all the things you listed (e.g. changing the sunshine laws) don’t matter to him any more. He has no integrity.
He is thinking that Trump would end up in jail. He may be good in some areas but he is a snake in others.

I sure hope you have to deal with the justice system at some point. Then you can report back as to how well it’s run, and how it gets it right all the time.....
I’m a pretty squeaky clean person. I’d never make a phone call that could come back and haunt me nor would I put anything stupid on Facebook or Twitter. I have common sense, self control and a filter. Something he doesn’t have at all.
