Infowars' Owen Shroyer sentenced to 60 days in prison for Jan. 6 despite never entering the Capitol

Infowars host Owen Shroyer was sentenced to 60 days in prison for what was described as a violation of a previous agreement when he was near the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, but did not enter.

Shroyer, host of "The War Room," was handed the sentence for allegedly violating a deferred prosecution agreement stemming from his protest of a Donald Trump impeachment hearing in 2019.

According to NBC News, Shroyer signed the agreement that stated he could not use any “loud, threatening, or abusive language" or "engage in any disorderly or disruptive conduct, at any place upon the United States Capitol Grounds.”

According to court documents, Shroyer was accused of spreading "election disinformation paired with violent rhetoric to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of viewers."

"Shroyer took to a megaphone before leading a crowd to the Capitol: 'The Democrats are posing as communists, but we know what they really are: they’re just tyrants, they’re tyrants. And so today, on January 6, we declare death to tyranny! Death to tyrants!'" the document read.

"He continued marching around to the top of the east steps chanting '1776!'," it added.

In a press conference, Shroyer responded to the government's claims and said that he was defending a legal process that day:

"Is this the United States anymore? Is this the country we want to live in when a prosecution, multiple U.S. attorneys, and a judge quote me saying '1776' and 'U.S.A.' in a criminal offense?"

"The Democratic Party has challenged every presidential election they have lost in the 21st century. Gore, Kerry, Clinton; they challenged every single loss," Shroyer continued. "This legal process that we have in the country somehow gets ignored throughout this litigation, and that was indeed the process we were trying to support. If anything, we were supporting the law that day."

In an official written statement, Shroyer's defense wrote that the decision "represents a low-water mark in the Government’s prosecution of January 6 cases, taking direct aim at freedom of speech. It seeks to penalize Mr. Shroyer for his viewpoints."

Shroyer was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly, the same judge who sentenced former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio to 22 years in prison.

The government had originally sought a 120-day sentence for Shroyer, claiming that while he didn't go into the Capitol, "many of those who listened to him" did.

The defense team had stated that Shroyer "wore two hats" on January 6th, an "outraged citizen who believed that an election had been rigged" and a "full-time journalist and commentator who sought a front-row seat at an historic event."

The enemies of freedom have the First Amendment and every other Amendment following in their collective crosshairs and are zeroing in their focus on all who stand against them.

What may become of these tyrants when the rigging of elections is understood? It’s a classic case of “thou protests too much” on the part of the tyrants.

Not sympathetic for someone who rallies a crowd with “The Democrats are ... tyrants! ... Death to tyrants!” These small number of nuts are what the Democrats use to justify treating the January 6 rallies like they were burning the Reichstag.

I agree with you in general, but in this particular case the guy can’t really complain much. He pleaded guilty, so he gave up his options to fight a principled battle.

That woman in England was arrested twice for the mind reading police being able to know she was “silently praying” for an end to abortion near an abortion place.

Maybe the officers “knew” he was thinking of mayhem at the Capitol.💫👀

Ray Epps is on video with a bullhorn encouraging protesters to storm the Capitol and inside the Capitol Building and never has been indicted. Is Epps a Gov’t plant by Pelosi? Who paid his travel from Az. and expenses in DC?

Owen Shroyer may have decided to take a plea bargain because he lacked the financial resources for good lawyers and because the prison term will give him an opportunity to report directly on the DC gulag. He will have a job at Infowars when his prison term is over.

I don't blame him for taking a plea deal. Depending on his circumstances, I might have advised him to do exactly that.

My point is that the issue is settled and it's a done deal by the time you get to sentencing. It's hard for me to generate much interest in the case once it's gotten to that point.

MLB is complicit in this.

To anyone still supporting MLB...

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

The way I understood it is that Owen plead guilty to exercising his first Amendment rights to criticize the governments tyrannical efforts to seize and steal an election. Which is within his Constitutional rights.

But they are appealing the decision all the way to the SC if necessary.

Oh, we still have a Constitution.

What we don’t have is a republic.

Where are the prosecutions of those that disrupted The Kavenaugh hearings? Or the disrupting in years past of congressional hearings by code pink?

"They are out to destroy...every single person who supports/supported assuring that elections are legitimate."

And to make sure that no one ever dare protest again.

I keep reading "They violated the Constitution."

So what? What does it mean to violate the Constitution?

Apparently it does not mean anything at all.

The thieving, lying, criminal government pays no attention to it. It appears to be a paper tiger.

John sullivan posed as a journalist, entered the capital building, broke out a window and filmed a murder.

Yup...innocent

How did the orwellien deepstate become so powerful?

The answer is U.S.I.S.

Under Clinton the duties of federal applicant background checks was outsourced to a shell corporation known as United States Investigative Services. Prior to that the federal government processed the background checks of applicants under the oversight of OBM, office and budget management.

Eventually a whistleblower came forward to expose a scheme within usis to not only commit fraudulent fabricated background checks, but in the commission of doing so also defrauded taxpayers to the tune of nearly 7 billion dollars.

This led to nearly 700,000 improperly vetted federal applicants receiving security clearance checks to the nation’s most secure intelligence oversight positions.

The whistle blowers name is Blake Percival. However a web search will produce very little information regarding this because any mention on the internet has been nearly scrubbed.

So if there is any question regarding how the enemy secured such vital positions within our government, one look no further than U.S.I.S. which was successfully used to infiltrate and take over every branch, every level, and every agency of the U.S. government.

Here is a brief oversight:
