The real question is. “Where can you buy Tin Foil?”

Fortunately I got some at an antique store after searching for many years.

The aluminum stuff is not tin, and does not work.

Years ago I was out in a small funky town on a project. There was a gal that I kept running into that wore a tin foil hat and she would talk to me.

I told her that it would work a lot better if it was grounded to the earth - you know - just like the electrical outlets. I brought her some wire the next day and tied it on to her hat and let the other end trail the ground.

I suppose that was childish and mean of me - but she appreciated it.

Exactly! That’s why we are being inundated with Aliens. We don’t have enough ‘real’ tin.

Oh man, thank you. You are a lifesaver. I have been using aluminum for years and cannot get the voices out of my head. I have some billets of tin. Do you recomment rolling it into sheets or pounding it? How thick should I make it? Does it provide more protection if it is thicker? Does anyone have a youtube for the DIYer?
