The explosive claim was made in the latest bombshell report published on Sept. 21 by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, who spoke with an official who has access to current intelligence about the conflict.
“The war is over. Russia has won. There is no Ukrainian offensive anymore, but the White House and the American media have to keep the lie going,” the official said.
According to Hersh’s report, the war is continuing because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insists that it must. Currently, there is no discussion at Zelensky’s headquarters or at the White House about a ceasefire and no interest in discussions that could lead to an end of the conflict.
“The truth is if the Ukrainian army is ordered to continue the offensive, the army would mutiny. The soldiers aren’t willing to die any more, but this doesn’t fit the B.S. that is being authored by the Biden White House,” the official explained.
Hersh’s report was published two days after Zelensky was in the U.S. delivering a 15-minute speech to the United Nations (UN), his first address to the General Assembly since the conflict with Russia began in February 2022.

I ascribe to the view that if there is lying and warmongering to be done, the Biden administration and its deep state overlords are on it.
That said, I’ve been reading this same narrative (that Ukraine has lost the war) for well over a year. If it’s true, the Russkies are certainly taking their time mopping up. Is their plan to have Biden continue to pour in US aid and weapons to kill Russians with, to bankrupt the US (like Reagan did to the USSR with Star Wars and Afghanistan)?

It would not surprise me that all this aid going to Ukraine will get there just in time to be received by the country’s new “managers”......the Russians. The State Department will know it is occupied by the Russians, and they’ll give them the aid anyway. That is just how screwed up our gov’t is.
Assuming the Allied powers did not choose to stop fighting, Germany was doomed from June 22nd, 1941.
You could increase your bet after Stalingrad, or Citadel, or Husky, or Overlord, or Wacht am Rhein, but the losing move was always aligning vastly superior production against themselves.
Now Russia, with it’s Italian sized economy, has to take on the PGM production of the ‘Western’ powers from Germany to South Korea and try to figure out how to stop drones and PGM bombs, artillery, and missiles from chewing up their forces in a slow, deliberate advance that trades speed for casualties. I’ll be surprised if we see the Ukrainians achieve operational freedom behind Russian lines at any point, unless there were a near complete collapse (which I wouldn’t bet on).
After trying the NATO breaching method without the advantage (and doctrine necessity) of air superiority, the Ukrainians have shifted to small unit infantry finding the Russian strongpoints for reduction by PGMs and rapid assault. Russian counter attacks then expose their own artillery to CB, and Russian Telegram channels aren’t painting rosy pictures of the outcome.
There won’t be a repeat of Falaise Gap, because there isn’t the AirPower to recreate the outset of Operation Cobra. The Ukrainians are compelled to do it the best way they can, with what they have, and the line keeps moving south.
What’s sick is how I would curse Knight Ridder stories. There was no way they were right because everyone else was right, particularly FoxNews.
I never understood how this was supposed to work. The US dribbles some money and old weapons to Ukraine, then their heroic fighters defeat Russia at their border.

Unfortunately I think you’re right. I imagine Russia will eventually make their move to take out areas where missiles are shot from, but that could be 3 years from now.
Until then, it’ll just be more deaths and more US dollars being sent.
US Aid to Ukraine is not about stopping Putin or winning a war.
The aid sent to Ukraine comes back to globalist elites, swamp critters, RINOs and Dems in kickbacks.
The telltale evidence is the news that the Clinton Global Initiative is inserting itself into the funding in Ukraine. In case you missed it, only 5 percent of the money ‘donated’ to the Clinton slush fund ever made it to the people it was supposedly collected to help. The rest of this enormous fund went to pay for 1st class airfare, luxury hotels, gas guzzling SUVs, and ritzy but useless conference meetings, and of course, to the Clintons.
Republicans should be demanding a forensic audit of the money already sent, unless of course they’re on the dole as well.
