Achiote chicken is already incredible. In fact, it is the ONLY BBQ chicken that I like. However, due to a tip from a viewer plus my desire to increase the garlic flavor of the chicken, I have been able to SUPERCHARGE the flavor. BTW, one final way to SUPERCHARGE the achiote chicken is to refrigerate it. I find the cooling process gels the chicken fat in such a way as to further heighten the flavor. It is not for everybody since most people would prefer warm chicken but I actually like it cold.
You can find the recipe at a previous achiote chicken video I made below. Since the amount of chicken I used has approximately doubled, please double the ingredients (except for the salt) at the following link:

PING!
Supercharged your thighs?
Are you using that Suzanne Somers machine?
😆😂🤣🤣🤣🤪🤪🤪
Heading for the grocery now!
It looks good! Is it fiery hot?
No. It could be by simply substituting chili powder for the Goya seasoning but my wife likes it less hot so I went with the latter seaoning.
If you can’t find Achiote paste at your store, Amazon sells them in 3-packs.
bookmarked for later read. i love bbq chicken thighs.

Thanks!
I have found the Holy Grail of Chicken. With the cost of grocery shopping I went after something I never considered. Chicken Thighs. Wow. Always tender, and tasty. You just cant over cook them like a chicken breasts.
More power to you! Personally I am not fond of BBQ flavoured anything, and thighs make me gag, but you enjoy what you like.
Never ever heard of Achiote and I LOVE to cook.
Thank you for the education!
It's made from ground up Anetto seeds which they make into a paste in Mexico. I first found out about its incredible properties when I bought chicken leg quarters marinated in Achiote at a Mexican grocery. It was so good I kept going back to buy more to BBQ and was curious about the marinade so I investigated until I found out.
Bkmk
I think I’ll give this a try!
Thanks, PJ.
