While there are numerous accounts of courageous and valiant dogs who have saved their owners' lives, capturing such moments on camera is a rarity. However, a remarkable video has resurfaced, showcasing the unwavering loyalty of a German Shepherd.
In this captivating clip, a young boy and girl can be seen engrossed in a game of ball within the confines of their compound. Unfortunately, the ball accidentally falls into an aging fish pond, with their family's vigilant German Shepherd attentively observing the situation.
Sensing the potential danger, the astute canine swiftly intervenes, grasping the boy's clothing and pulling him to safety, preventing an unfortunate plunge into the water. Astonishingly, the dog then retrieves a pond net, skillfully recovers the ball, and presents it to the grateful boy.

Seems she crossed the street and the German Shephard went right through the electric fence to get the pup to where she belonged.

Shepherds are reputed to be among the smartest of all dogs, IIRC.
Add to that, I don't think it's the dog who scooped the ball out of the water. Who ever was doing that was just outside the video frame.

We had a female GS and my kids could climb all over her. If she was in the yard with them & she didn’t know you, you’re weren’t coming into the yard.
