In a shocking development, Elon Musk and Chris Pavloski are gearing up for legal action against an alleged fraud scheme, mirroring tactics used on Twitter, now deployed on Rumble. The controversial Media Matters/X playbook is said to involve manipulating algorithms and orchestrating fake ad placements to pressure advertisers into abandoning the platform.

The narrative, described as “evil,” underscores Musk’s role as a key player in dismantling what is portrayed as a censorship-industrial complex. This complex, comprising government agencies, think tanks, private media, and activist organizations, is accused of censoring, controlling, and financially crippling free speech platforms under the guise of combating ‘hate speech’ and ‘misinformation.’

As far as I can tell, this is awkwardly worded.

My first reading made me think that Rumble has a fraud scheme -- in the same way that the old Twitter did -- which supported censorship.

But I think the author here is actually trying to say that Chris Pavlovski of Rumble is teaming up with Elon Musk of X to make sure that both X and Rumble can fight the censorship fraud that many social media platforms have adopted.

Why can't any state AGs simply bring RICO charges against the aforementioned?

Good point. Possible answer: Probably because so many state AGs have been weaponized by the Left.

My reading is that these entities are weilding their perverse algorhyms on X and Rumble, and thus need suing.

If you want to help Elon and free speech, I would advise you to subscribe to Twitter premium for $8 a month.

I did just that; I subscribed to Twitter.
I also donate here.
I need to do something to help the cause. I hate feeling helpless in this fight for Western Civilization.

The proverbial They did this to Rush Limbaugh years ago. He was able to show his advertisers that it was 10 people manipulating the algorithm.

Yup they dont want to because they love private entities doing the censor work on their behalf, because they technically cannot censor. So they either pressure the private entity to do so, or they are lefty and willingly do so for their liberal pols.
