This can’t be true. We have nothing to fear. We’ve been told here many times that the Russians are incompetent doofuses and they’re nukes are so rundown and corroded from neglect that they can’t hurt us.
The interpretation should be, WWIII would start if Russia invaded Poland or Romania, which Putin has zero interest in even trying.
All he wants (and can do) is to secure the eastern provinces and make sure the rest of Ukraine remains neutral. Anything beyond that is just bluster.

Democrats in the past have been known to do various acts of sabotage for an incoming Republican President. I would not be surprised if TRUMP wins, that Biden will get us into a hot war between election and inauguration.
