Both Rage Against the Machine and Green Day are now complete corporately-owned pop music acts who sold out to The Man instead of continuing their phony “punk/anti-authority” stances. Any punk rocker who supports Joe Biden, who is the bought and paid for politician in this country’s history, is a poseur who deserves mocking and belittlement.
The ironic thing is that “MAGA” is now the punk rock/anti-establishment movement in this country and these dolts sold out for mansions and music contracts.
I can’t decide which is more insipidly conventional - being one of the acts on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve or updating your song lyrics to take a shot at MAGA. In any event, the two minutes I just spent on this is the most time I’ve spent thinking about Green Day in 20 years.
They are jokes unto themselves.
MAGA, or whatever you want to call it, is the modern anti-establishment movement right down to those in power punishing its followers via the corrupt court system. Green Day are poseurs and sellouts. I mean, them supporting Joe Biden (same with Rage Against The Machine) could not be more against what punk rock was created to be in terms of giving us peasants a voice.
Fag bands that have to attack patriotic Americans while on stage obviously don’t have much of a following. I listen to a lot of music but I can’t name one song I’ve ever heard by this box of cucumbers.
