Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong spoke candidly with his personal mental health issues and revealed he suffered a form of “mid-life crisis” at the tender age of 20. Armstrong explained to Kerrang!, “I didn’t think I was gonna live that long. It’s something that’s always been in my head. Whether it’s people dealing with PTSD or, like, everybody’s got a part of their brain that is neurotic, or maybe even paranoid, or bi-polar, or they have a personality disorder.”

I don’t watch television, but my wife wanted to see “the ball drop” so I put it on one minute before midnight, and turned it off one minute after.
I thought I did see the performer’s shirt and thought “Did that say Green Day? Is that who those douchecanoes are?”

I’ve seen stuff about these “tree huggers”, but I haven’t ever heard of that band...

Just a mediocre washed up punk rock band. They were never very good.

Sex Pistols were punk. Gang of Four was punk. Green Day were 90’s pop “punk” posers. Dyeing your hair and wearing eyeliner does not make you punk. They were pretentiousness losers then and are more so now.
