We require leaders with the will to admit it.
A secure future for America is tied to winning two related shooting wars, one in Ukraine and the other in Israel. Victory will weaken the Russia-Iran-China axis that is at war with the United States. The will and a strategy to win are crucial and will require strong U.S. leadership, particularly from the president of the United States.
In our war with the Russia-Iran-China axis (North Korea is the junior partner), American troops are not engaged directly at this time, but those of our Ukrainian and Israeli allies experience death and destruction every day. The sooner the American people and their elected officials recognize that we are at war—by proxy, for now—the better off we’ll be.
Our leadership is fearful of speaking this hard truth. This incapacity at the top is fueling a new anti-war strain in American politics at home and the perception of American weakness among adversaries and fence-sitters abroad. The president needs to marginalize domestic opposition as the isolationist right and the progressive left are both proposing the equivalent of surrender. The right seeks to leave Ukraine to its own devices against Russia and the left is opposed to a complete Israeli victory over Hamas.
On one side, led to a large extent by the oft-quoted on Russian television ex-talk-show host Tucker Carlson and his Republican colleagues on the far-right, we are experiencing a movement chillingly reminiscent of the original isolationist “America Firsters” of the late 1930s. Those isolationists were silenced, but only after Pearl Harbor and Hitler’s subsequent declaration of war against the United States four days later.

Er, um, NO.
I’m a firm supporter of both Ukraine and Israel.
But it us not true that they must both win for America to be secure.
Russia will probably win in Ukraine, nearly to their dismay. Horrible cost in blood and treasure. It may take them 10 or 20 years to recover. A lot can happen in 20 years.
Israel will “win” in some manner, long forestalling the mad mohammedans next attack. The only question is to what degree. It is unlikely that they will achieve what I want (see tagline).
So America is not hanging in the balance. We can pick the righteous side, and win somewhat and lose somewhat, and in neither case risk America.
And our leaders are in denial. It’s too profitable for them.
The left, China and Mexico are the greatest threats to the US.
the hot-spot of our existential war is the war with Texas. it’s the proxy for the war our elites are waging against We the People. the others pale into insignificance.

Any kind of victory for Russia in Ukraine is going to encourage China. If they see the west crumble at the idea of merely continuing supplying Ukraine with weapons they might think America doesnt have the stomach to get involved in a shooting war over Taiwan, because that would involve the inevitability of serious bloodshed clashing with the world’s now largest navy.
On the other hand, supplying sufficient firepower to the Ukies severely limits the few remaining weapons we could deploy against the CCP invasion of Taiwan.
So it’s tricky, isn’t it?
All due to insufficient deterrence in advance.

But I can understand Ukraine and Israeli propagandists promoting the idea that America's future depends on these foreign nations winning their wars.
The west could pull its collective finger out now and go into full scale armaments production. And considering they managed to integrate storm shadow to deploy from obsolete soviet aircraft within a few weeks when it usually takes years to integrate any weapons system I think we are more than capable of stepping up and making sure Russia loses AND we fulfill our own stockpile needs and need to accelerate the introduction of new weapons.
We are. But not because of anything happening in Europe or the Mideast.
We are being invaded by migrants who hate this country and only want the freebies. Our debt is unsustainable. Our economy is fragile. Our manufacturing base is gone. Our supply lines are fragile. Our culture is rotted and self-destructive. Government is seizing children if their parents don't consent to sex mutilation.
I could go on.
But yes, let's ignore our domestic problems, and incur further debt and maimed troops for another glorious war!
For the isolationist example to be relevant here, China would need to bomb Pearl harbor and Putin would have to occupy Germany, invade France, Belgium, Denmark and Norway, and start bombing Britain.
So I will agree with the premise if I see those things occur.
