In February 2021 just after the Biden Regime was installed, a DACA/Anchor baby ran the stop sign at a 2 way stop on my way back from work and tboned my vehicle at full speed. Found out she had gone to Rutgers uni and was from Columbia.
She was giggling as I got pulled out of the passenger side of my totalled vehicle. She did have insurance of 100K and so did I. I sustained a broken wrist and a torn rotator of which 2 surgeries and physical therapy could not fix.
After attorneys fees, I received a settlement of 60K. Two years later a DEI employee, who was dangerously unqualified, smashed into my husband's legally parked work van with the mechanical arms of the garbage truck he was operating. Again the completely paid for van was totalled.
Talked to about eight attorneys and no one would touch this case. We received the blue book value for my husband's work van but of course that was about one third of what it cost to replace the work van with another previously enjoyed vehicle.
I found one attorney who would help out after I filed an RJI. He told me that since I am a single proprietorship LLC I HAVE to have an attorney to file the case. The case will be dismissed for good ol' "lack of standing." Ridiculous since the small claims court amount here in upstate NY is the lowest in the country with the exception of Kentucky!
We had to take some of that 60K and shell out for another work van. The attorney says basically there was no loss. Um excuse me but we had to shell out 18K at least to get back up and running...something that we would not have incurred had this waste management company decided to employ competent employees and not just by race/ethnicity. This dangerously unqualified employee never got fired and is still working for this company; he actually grins as he drives by.
Color me disgusted!

I feel you. A few years ago my family was hit by an illegal driving a rock hauler dump truck fully loaded. My 18 month old truck was totaled and we were lucky not to be seriously injured only because he had taken out the rear axle of a US Postal shipping container first and so only hit us with a glancing blow. The driver immediately disappeared presumably back to Mexico and the company filed bankruptcy. Lawyers wouldn’t touch it (no money to be had). My insurance paid for my truck, but the loss of time and money was all mine.
With you, I don’t like this NEW AMERICA and it is NOT Building Back Better in ANY way.
Sheriff and county employees travel down the highway daily multiple times going past a ‘trailer park’ in our small town. As evening approaches as many as EIGHT vehicles are parked at each mobile home!! Evidently someway they don’t violate the fire code.
Our taxes are battered by the huge percentage of poor non-English speaking children in our community in our school, our hospital closed for all the uninsured/freeloaders and we wouldn’t pass a hospital taxing district (!!), crime has escalated, etc. Many of the adults cannot speak English or will not learn.
Traveling and staying in hotels is fun also. Want caff vs. decaf? Good luck. Want a wash cloth? You get a hand towel. Want an extra bath mat? Good luck with what you get. I usually just go to the cart in the hall and get what I need!!! Disgusting that they cannot even understand what they are working around when it’s about 20 items. Oh, and men are now housekeepers! No thanks on letting them in my room. Last trip a foreign maintenance guy tried to access my room and I had the door guard on. I was taking a nap and heard the door try to open. I grabbed my gun thinking someone was breaking in!! When I went to the door after it was closed, I heard him give my room number with Spanish numerals!!
Thank you ALL politicians who are living high on the taxpayer cash bundles and wrecking a great country. Please note that we are blessed by God and His judgement and righteousness are not pretty but good for you/us and it’s happening NOW!!

This pendulum must swing the other way. Justice must be served. No hires on the basis of gender, nationality, or race. No one is exempt from being fired for cause.
Step back a minute and look at this logically. In the old days, illegals were completely uninsured, and would just duck back to Mexico to avoid any consequences for their actions, eventually coming back across the border somewhere else.
Here, at least, there was some insurance available.
As for the other case, if 6 attorneys wouldn’t touch a case against a corporate defendant, you were either shopping for lawyers in the wrong place, or it was a weak case.
And finally, DEI hire to drive a garbage truck would most likely be a white female. Garbage truck drivers have been either black or brown for decades. But they have generally been male.
