Very true. Jackie Stiles who grew up not far from where I live in Claflin, KS, it was said, would shoot jump shots until she made five hundred of them, not just shoot, but make. I had the privilege of watching her play for a state championship against the Little River Redskins. Jackie got her points, but Little River won the championship. I look at Caitlen Clark and I see God Himself personified in the form of a lady basketball player. At 63 I’m not sure I will see this level of talent in a basketball player again in my lifetime, man or woman.

Women’s basketball doesn’t get national press all too often. Clark has been covered so much the last couple years people who don’t follow sports at all know who she is.

Your point is somewhat moot because Lobo is partly hispanic (Cuban) - although heavily Spanish in background. Her DNA breakdown is online (overwhelmingly European but she looks more hispanic than white) . And she’s 51 this year. That means her college career ended almost 30 years ago. It was a different world then.
