Most historians put Jesus’ birth around 8 BC. I don’t think there is any reason to think Peter was much older or younger... church tradition (as you noticed in the Ravenna last supper) often portrays him as the eldest of the apostles... that is probably tied up with his position as first bishop of Rome so hierarchical. I believe the New Testament really only suggests the age of one apostle... John, and that he was young.
I think some Orthodox Christians may claim that Andrew was older than Peter, but I don’t think there is any evidence in the New Testament to support that. There is a church in Patras, Greece, which claims to have portions of St. Andrew’s cross.
There I was joking about how as soon as the sun was up today, Londoners were out taking pictures of the flagpole and posting on ‘X’ saying “See, it’s not lowered.”
The news aggregator who posted the rumor about flags at half staff and that there was an “imminent announcement” coming from the palace, must have known his story would be blown up inside of hours. All day these rumors were trending on twitter so he got his clicks.
I still think Charles is very ill... not just a little treatment and he’ll be fine sort of thing. Apparently a lot of other people think so too.

No problem. Henry VIII created a whole lot of problems for his country and people all because he wanted his own way. He wanted instant gratification, and when he didn’t get it, he sent the country into turmoil. Then three years later, after securing his desire, he got rid of Anne Boleyn on trumped-up charges. The guy was a whack job in my estimation. He’s supposed to be a cousin in my family tree, and I despise him.
