Tips from the Glendale Police Department:
- Hardwire security cameras
- Install better gates and outdoor lighting
- Keep extra batteries for cameras
- Lock second-floor windows and doors
- Have a trusted neighbor watch your home when you're away

There's a similar story on KTLA Channel 5 from Los Angeles that doesn't require a special app.
The uptake is that the jammers jam WiFi, so instead you should hardwire all your security systems and security cameras.
Also a bunch of commonsense stuff such as motion sensors that turn on lights and/or sound alarms, more lighting in general, parking your car in a garage, keeping your car's key fob away from the front door or placed in a faraday cage bag, etc.

I got an old-timey 8 camera WIRED system just for this reason. 160.00 for the 4 camera unit with a 1TB HD and you can get extra cams but I just got two complete units so as to have a backup.
It’s a pain to route the tiny coax but I don’t care. It carries dc power for the cams and the video signal as 1080p NTSC. brand is SANSCO on Amazon
You can also get systems that use CAT6 cabling and do POE so the CAT6 carries the power for the cams and the video feed.

I have a feeling if things keep progressing as they are down the road most of us may need a security system like yours.

The sad truth is, I expect it before November. They will pull out all the stops to prevent him from being elected, you see it now and everyday they become more desperate and it shows.

Heh.
Somebody didn’t proofread their release:
Hardwired cameras don’t need batteries if you use IP cameras with POE or supply 12vdc with the video cable run.
If cameras are sold with batteries and connected by physical cable to the DVR, don’t buy them.
