Business magnate Elon Musk asserted in a post on X that the U.S. will be "toast" if there is not a "red wave."

"I voted 100% Dem until a few years ago. Now, I think we need a red wave or America is toast," Musk wrote.

The term "red wave" refers to a dominant performance by Republicans during an election cycle.

The problem is that Republicans can’t seem to get out of their own way. This is the biggest moron ever to occupy the office. The Dimms have gone off the deep, deep end of the pool with their bats*** ideas like DEI and gender ideology. A red wave should be a layup but lately GOP candidates have been throwing up nothing but bricks. So we’ll see about November.

The 2022 Red Wave fizzled into nothing because Trump’s GOP leadership did nothing after the 2020 election where mail-in ballots were legally harvested.

We are 7 months from the 2024 election and still Trump’s team has done nothing to offset the millions of votes that will be harvested again.

There are two almost diametrically opposed factions within the big tent called the “Republican” party. One is composed of the MAGA crowd, the more conservative/libertarian version, and the others are never-Trumpers known as RINO’s, and insofar as they have any principles or beliefs at all, tend toward the “progressive” side. They are Democrats who have invaded and subverted the rather loose standards for membership among Republicans. Anyone can go down to the county courthouse in most states and merely sign an affidavit affirming their party affiliation, or simply declare themselves to be a Republican when they appear at the polling place the day of the election.

That is part of the reason so many Republicans in elective positions are not politically reliable. That and some pretty dark opposition research dug up (or manufactured) by Democrat Socialist operatives to suborn otherwise real Republicans.

The manufactured part has been used against Donald Trump, but so far he has resisted being defined by it, and has thrown his full weight into fighting off the spurious charges.

Except our side will be ballot harvesting as well this go round. When we win you can expect the Dems to cry and caterwaul about the evils of ballot harvesting.

After the 2020 election, the RNC was stuck with Rona McDaniel as chairman. She proved to be an extraordinary failure at the job. The new RNC chairman is supported by Trump and is now cleaning out the deadwood and pushing election integrity and GOTV.

You are not allowed to re-write history. Trump supported and put Ronna McDaniel in charge for 2022. She would have been out had it not been for Trump.

Trump (and others) saw Rona McDaniel as a credible choice because she had done a good job in Michigan for Trump. Yet McDaniel proved to be a dud in the larger job at the RNC. In 2022, Trump was no longer in office and was not yet the nominee for 2024, so he could not oust McDaniel until recently.

McDaniel was on her way out after 2020. Trump saved her.

Republicans reelect Trump-backed McDaniel as party chairperson
