Business magnate Elon Musk asserted in a post on X that the U.S. will be "toast" if there is not a "red wave." "I voted 100% Dem until a few years ago. Now, I think we need a red wave or America is toast," Musk wrote. The term "red wave" refers to a dominant performance by Republicans during an election cycle.

@POTUS Look, I think you should be able to be a billionaire if you can earn it, but just pay your fair share. I think you ought to pay a minimum tax of 25%. It’s about basic fairness. @ElonMusk Replying to @POTUS I paid 53% taxes on my Tesla stock options (40% Federal & 13% state), so I must be lifting the average! I also paid more income tax than anyone ever in the history of Earth for 2021 and will do that again in 2022.

Electric vehicles are among the least reliable cars and trucks in the automotive industry today, according to Consumer Reports rankings released Tuesday. Reliability issues with all-electric vehicles were expected, since most automakers, with the exception of early EV-leader Tesla, launched fully electric models in just recent years. Consumer Reports surveyed owners of more than 300,000 vehicles to make predictions about the reliability of 2023 model year vehicles.

Emergencies justify emergency powers, and emergency powers mean that you can push ahead with your agenda on all fronts. Last week in this space, I included a few words about Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s remarkable new book, The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. I also included a link to Kennedy’s appearance on “Tucker Carlson Today.” It was a remarkable exchange and I commend both the book and the interview to your attention. I disagree with Kennedy about various things, including the efficacy of vaccines in general, but his assessment...

Elon Musk argued in recent remarks that “government is simply the biggest corporation, with the monopoly on violence.”Musk — who serves as chief executive of both Tesla and SpaceX — made the remarks during The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit, where he also slammed President Biden’s domestic agenda.“It does not make sense to take the job of capital allocation away from people who have demonstrated great skill in capital allocation, and give it to an entity that has demonstrated very poor skill in capital allocation, which is the government,” he commented.“Government is simply the biggest corporation, with the monopoly...

“It’s time to put down the gavel,” Patrick Leahy declared a few minutes ago in bowing out of the 2022 midterms. “It’s time to pass the torch to the next Vermonter.” It’s the identity of the next Vermonter that will worry Democrats, who have to defend another open seat in an election cycle that looks to be a disaster already. It doesn’t help that the heir apparent within Democrat ranks is only seven years younger than Leahy himself:Leahy is chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and also president pro tempore of the Senate, making him third in the line of succession...

Elon Musk is one of the brainiest people on the planet and a fighter. He invented PayPal on his way to launching SpaceX and Tesla. Last week, Musk threatened to sue Alameda County because the pols wanted his employees to stay well distanced on a Tesla production line. Yeah, right, Musk replied — you'll have to arrest me first. Musk, once a liberal in good standing, explained his outrage: "Somebody wants to stay in the house, that's great[.] ... But to say that they cannot leave their house and they will be arrested if they do, this is fascist. This...

Musk, who has been a vocal critic of California’s lockdown orders and threatened to move Tesla production to Texas, tweeted “Take the red pill” over the weekend. “Taken!” Trump said in response to Musk’s tweet, prompting Wachowski, who co-wrote and co-directed the film trilogy, to respond “F—k both of you.” In a follow-up tweet, she urged her followers to support the BraveSpace Alliance, an LGBTQ social-services organization based in Chicago....

Greenie car manufacturer Elon Musk, who has 34 million Twitter followers, has effectively told them all to go vote for President Trump, using a popular vernacular: Take the red pill 🌹— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 17, 2020  Fox News calls that a 'cryptic' tweet, but I suspect that's some leftist headline writer's doing, because the story itself indicates the writer knows perfectly well what is going on: "Take the red pill" is a line from the popular 1999 movie “The Matrix†about seeking the unvarnished truth: "You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you...

Tesla CEO Elon Musk took aim at Sen. Bernie Sanders over the weekend after the lawmaker demanded the wealthy pay their “fair share.” Sanders, an advocate for redistributing wealth, tweeted Saturday afternoon that “we must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.” Early Sunday, Musk fired back at the Vermont independent. “I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” he wrote in a tweet. Musk followed that up with another message for Sanders. “Want me to sell more stock, Bernie?” he asked. “Just say the word …” Musk falls under Sanders’ description of “the extremely wealthy” as the...

Author’s note: The below is the Op-Ed that was accepted to USAToday on June 24. They deleted key phrases/paragraphs for their print paper and then they refused to print it at all online. It is clear to me as a physician-lawyer that the disinformation about both Covid-19 and the Constitution has caused us to turn a medical issue into a legal crisis. The scientific usefulness of a mask has been so aggressively overstated, and the foundational importance of the Constitution has been so aggressively understated, that we have normalized people screaming obscenities at each other while hiking. The Covid virus was supposed to be...

Tesla CEO Elon Musk criticized the media in a series of Twitter posts he wrote on Wednesday. "The holier-than-thou hypocrisy of big media companies who lay claim to the truth, but publish only enough to sugarcoat the lie, is why the public no longer respects them," Musk said. Musk added that he'd start a website that would evaluate "the core truth of any article & track the credibility score over time of each journalist, editor & publication."

How an unprecedented strategy cut costs, shook up the status quo, and returned the US to the forefront of space exploration. On Saturday afternoon, the Florida thunderstorms broke just long enough for history to be made. After 10 years of slow and sometimes painful change, NASA finally took the historic step of taking an astronaut into orbit in a private spacecraft. While discussion of this remarkable event has been overshadowed by riots and lockdowns occurring across the US, the importance of this launch cannot be understated. It shows the success of an unprecedented policy of privatization, with immense, positive consequences...
