Tesla CEO Elon Musk took aim at Sen. Bernie Sanders over the weekend after the lawmaker demanded the wealthy pay their “fair share.” Sanders, an advocate for redistributing wealth, tweeted Saturday afternoon that “we must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.” Early Sunday, Musk fired back at the Vermont independent.
“I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” he wrote in a tweet. Musk followed that up with another message for Sanders. “Want me to sell more stock, Bernie?” he asked. “Just say the word …” Musk falls under Sanders’ description of “the extremely wealthy” as the world’s richest person with a net worth of $285 billion, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are seeking to raise taxes for the country’s most wealthy. U.S. Senate Democrats last month unveiled a proposal to tax the stocks and other tradeable assets of billionaires to help pay for President Joe Biden’s sweeping domestic policy package. Sanders, along with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, has been one of the loudest voices demanding higher taxes on the rich. In March, both proposed a 3 percent total annual tax on wealth exceeding $1 billion, and a 2 percent annual wealth tax on the net worth of households and trusts ranging from $50 million to $1 billion.

Stonehenge is pretty awesome, isn’t it? I was taught the stones were quarried VERY far from the location and dragged on sledges, but now science has cast some doubt on that. There are a lot of interesting dolmans in the british isles, however.
(Also, Mr Musk is a flip-flopping turd. Like that one pancake in the griddle that didn’t get done at the same time as the others and so you keep turning it hoping it will brown up or at least not be mushy and you finally feed it to the dog. Except it’s a light-brown turd that not even your dog would eat. Him and Burning Sands-ers should do a reality TV series together. I wouldn’t watch it, but just saying - just like I wouldn’t watch a Huma A and AOC jello wrestling match but I think it’s a great idea.)

Elon is worth $285 billion. Let’s have some fun with math. There are an estimated 332,928,820 people in the United States (Census clock as of posting time). If Musk sold everything he owned and gave it to each of us equally, that would be a one-time payment of $856 per person. That’s it. Game over. No more billionaire to steal from.

Sanders is still alive. His ideas are dead and endless implementations of them have shown them to be so. The wealthiest 10% but what percentage of taxes in this country? And over 50% per cent pay no federal income taxes at all. So... FUBS!
