Last week in this space, I included a few words about Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s remarkable new book, The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health. I also included a link to Kennedy’s appearance on “Tucker Carlson Today.”
It was a remarkable exchange and I commend both the book and the interview to your attention. I disagree with Kennedy about various things, including the efficacy of vaccines in general, but his assessment of the highest-paid employee of the federal government, Anthony Fauci, is worth the price of admission.
As I remarked a couple of weeks ago, I thought I had done writing about COVID. Surely, I thought, the hysteria is on the wane. Most people are rational. They know that the flimsy porous masks you see everywhere are useless tokens of conformity. They understand that the disease is serious for only a tiny part of the population. They also know staying home and practicing “social distancing” has its own liabilities, not least of which is a diminution in the potency of one’s immune response.

Civilizational suicide is the goal of Cultural Marxism (Critical Theory, Critical Legal Theory, Critical Race Theory, Queer Theory … all derived via Marxism to produce Useful Idiots).
This “back to nature” mentality of the Left is suicidal in itself. Nature is where we crawled out of. It’s the thing we’ve struggled against for the last couple hundred thousand years. Nature is beautiful, yes, but it’s deadly. No one alive is “one with nature”.
Our civilization’s infrastructure. Our political infrastructure.
Just a comment:
Democracy is not a threat to tyrants because it can be faked.
It can be red flagged into voting for tyranny.
Independence is the biggest threat to oppression.
Wrong.
Democracy and tyranny are the same thing.

We are coming out of this mess. Praise to GOD!
Freedom is not a universal value.
Foreign policy of most Western countries has programmed us to believe it is. But, it is not.
Power is the universal value. Those that believe that freedom is are wrong.
History has shown us that, time and time again, but we refuse to learn the lessons of History.
What? Another hysteric only a conservative hysteric? If it is suicide it is very spotty. Located only in big Blue cities. Made to look like a grass roots race riot but by paid actors. Always filmed for shock and awe.
But we do have a fiscal and budget issue of running out of money to fund the welfare state, medicare, social security, government pensions, etc. A coalition of Democrats and Republicans rigged the last election and have choreographed an epidemic out of a nasty flu to divert our attention from this fiscal reality. The political class does not know how to stay in power without giving away freebies. The response of both parties is to try and reduce the number of elderly beneficiaries, but it isn’t working very well. They are stacking the military with unqualified minorities and forcing whites out of the military so that when the welfare money runs out the minorities have (makeshift) jobs. They are destroying independent small businesses so that jobs in big box retail can be created. Then they are going to tax the unvaxxed so that government will be only for those in the government!! The social marker of whether you qualify for government services is the vaccine. If you are outside government, you will have to pay extra for police, courts, schools, etc. The rigged courts will validate this tax the middle and working class scam. You will paying taxes with rigged political representation for services you cannot have.
What is emerging is a tax farming scheme described in the Old Testament where you would be given excess grain stored up by the king in return for your cattle. Then you would have nothing. This will be called progressivism.

^ This was never taught to me at home, school or church. For some reason the culture I was raised in had an overarching theme of carelessness. I had to see for myself that this world is perilous.
Lately I've been hearing talk about what the universal cause of unhappiness is, and from various unrelated sources including Far East and Greek philosophy, the answer comes back as a lack of assertiveness: having a disorganized mind, making compulsive choices, failing to focus an intention. In general it is this:
