The news on the convoy died on the vine and this is the first follow up I’ve seen of it.
I was really cheering for the truckers when that was going on. Got a three day stint in Facebook jail for suggesting Trudeau get "the Mussolini treatment" (among other things ;-)
I keep praying something like that might happen here in America. But that seems to be a fading dream.

Never celebrate a good day fighting the Left. They are pivoting and planning the next ten things.
I think the extreme measures vs the truckers was to stop the bleeding-out of gov’t power. Secondly, I think it was to stop the populist momentum, which, at the time, was formidable.
For those purposes, it worked. Those were clearly fascist measures, and the Canadian supreme court ruled that way, well over a year later.
Anyway, it caused me to begin draining my once-sizable bank account to turn those funds into tangible assets. No way am I ever again going to risk our nest-egg in a niggardly-interest-paying institution with a tripwire like the Canadian banks demonstrated.

It's an ordinary Canadian citizen explaining how the truckers protest completely obliterated the Fidel Trudeau government and ended the draconian COVID lockdown.

I recommend Angelo M. Codevilla’s book “The Ruling Class”. It’s short and a good read. Codevilla sees two groups — The Ruling Class and the Country Class.
The Ruling Class is basically the Deep State. It’s the government — in the US, Canada, UK, the Dutch, France — wherever. And the Country Class are the ordinary people who are patriotic and want to just establish decent lives for their families in their own nation.
Classic Communism says that the workers of the world should unite and that a political revolution led by the Proletariat Class will transform society. I would say that Marx was wrong about just about everything. But the idea that a Class War is coming seems right on target to me. But it’s not the Proletariat against the Bourgeoisie. It’s Patriots against Globalists. Country Class against Ruling Class.

I will never be able to look at a Mountie or watch The Musical Ride without seeing the trampling of that woman protestor. It turned my stomach and once heroes became despicable thugs.
The trucker convoy will not have achieved its aim until Turdeau, Freeload, and Jagmeat are kicked to the curb. Those villainous people should not be ruling anyone, let alone in a supposedly free country.
When the media doesn’t want to talk about it, it means they have lost and doesn’t want to remind people of it.

But now, passports are only for citizens, dontchaknow? Try to get back into the country as a citizen without a passport compared to the perks and freebies they are lavishing on the illegals.
Makes you want to learn some Spanish and pretend you're an illegal so you can get debit cards, free food, medical care, etc.
