One is the Afghan elections. Two is John Howard's win in Australia.
I think John Kerry was suprised that his senate record has suddenly become an issue.
You can run but you can not hide!!! I think just exposing Kerry's record on everything is a win for President Bush! I've watched a few of the talking heads get nervous, defensive, and extremely evasive when asked about it, which is somewhat comical. We shall see!
Frankly I wish Rove had not said that. If there are problems on election day, and I'm sure their will be, and Bush wins via a contested election the Dems will say that was Rove's Oct. surprise. In the interview you are quoting Rove said the Republicans would delivers state in the Bush column that will surprise people. I do not think this mean the fix is in but believe me Dems will see it that way.
From what I understand, much like Shock and Awe, you'll know it when you see it.
How about massive Chineese troops on the North Korean Border?
VANITY: When wiil the October surprise be revealed? ^ |

I believe it Rove talking out his butt. He's going to LOSE this election for Bush and America will SUFFER under Kerry.
