October Surprises Anyone?
10/9/04

Posted on 10/09/2004 7:47:40 PM PDT by Williams

I've heard Karl Rove quoted that the Bush Campaign would have a "few October surprises." And I'm certain the democrats are planning one or more. Would this be a good time for educated guesses/ wild fantasies on what might happen during the next three weeks, and exactly when?

Wasn't Larry Flynt supposed to publish a story about Bush paying for an abortion right before the election? And it's hard for me to picture republicans doing an October surprise beyond a Schwarzeneger campaign appearance or something like that.

I'd say it was a surprise to see Bush win on the questions of abortion and the environment Friday night.

Who woulda thought such a thing four years ago?!

I'd love to know what Rove is planning myself, but if I did I wouldn't post it. Loose lips, etc.

I was listening to Hannity's radio interview on the day Carl Rove mentioned "surprises". He was talking about delivering some states they were not expected to win. That was the "surprises" he was referring to. Almost everyone read something else into what Carl said.

I'm hoping the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth have something up their sleeves. I would love to see Kerry try to disprove them, because we all know that he can't.

I think Rove is going to begin posting photos of what a dork sKerry is in the national ad campaign. Seriously, how many votes do you think this photo alone would lose for sKerry

As far as the abortion story goes, that is old news and Flint certainly cannot add any credibility to it.

It will be revealed that Bush failed to return a library book in 5th grade, and Dems will call for an independent prosecutor.

Kerry will reveal that he is a Vietnam vet.

Dan Rather will "find" damning emails from 1968 that prove Bush was kicked out of the NG for wetting the bed. He will find the emails in Sandy Berger's underwear while Sandy still had them on.

Halloween should be particularly sKerry, because that dude has skeletons piled up like Ramses II's sons. You just know Hillary or Karl or both is gonna roll the bones... soon.

I heard Rove say that on Hannity, I think he says it in part to drive dems nuts. I don't think you will see any sneaky dirty Oct surprise from Bush. You might see something unusal in campaigning. A operative recently told crushkerry.com, that they are planning a "shock and awe" operation in the final weeks of the campaign. Now I will say that both Rush and Sean alluded to an Oct surprise from the Swift Vets, no clue if its true

I fully expect to see some evidence of a less-than-honorable discharge for sKerry.

Kerry doesn't have to disprove anything. MSM does it for him and the Swifties. MSM says "discredited!" and that's it.

I couldn't care less if the man earned his medals or not. What I want to see is Kerry tried for treason for what he did when he came back from Nam.

Kerry keeps on hyping that if only Bush had gotten the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West (Osama), he would practically cast a vote for him himself.

I think it would be very up-shutting to the good Senator if we come up with the infamous bastard (are we allowed to say that?) or proof that he died.

"I'd love to know what Rove is planning myself, but if I did I wouldn't post it. Loose lips, etc."
Well, since DU'ers and their ilk are watching, maybe we should post a few out-of-the-left-field ideas (to have fun with the ideas and to have even more fun if they actually pick it, pass them to DNC and the ideas start having a life of their own).
For the next debate there will be infrasound irradiation of kerry's lectern, forcing him to vomit right in the microphone on live TV...

I heard rumor of one possible surprise that if true would be explosive but I won't repeat it in case it's not true and I want it to be a surprise anyway.

I heard a rumor that Rove has a home video of Kerry masterbating, and it will be played on TV 48 hours before the election...
