Thanks. I love the Mac, I love Pixar movies, and -- like Steve Jobs -- I've had my trials and tribulations, and I hope I don't die for a long time.

Steve Jobs; an individualist in an age lacking many individualists.

In this age of liberal bloviators masquerading as commencement speakers, it's nice to read of someone with life lessons (as opposed to an agenda) to pass on to graduates. This is everything a commencement address should be (and brief too)

Kudos to Steve Jobs!

If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts, and since Windows just copied the Mac, it's likely that no personal computer would have them.

And Dan Rather would still have a job.

Actually, as commencement speeches go, that was pretty good.

Thanks for posting this. I wasn't familiar with his early life story... very inspiring.

Having to scrape by early on, and eventually making it, I think explains the fact that he is a tough, hardworking taskmaster.

Terrific speech.

Won’t stop those who think Jobs was a Liberal, and Bill Gates was not. Lots and lots of them around here. Mindless boobs.
