Sorry - no help here. I don't have any cats, but I do have a terrier that is one helluva mouser!! I stopped counting the number of mice he's nailed once it got past 50! Mouse hunting in the yard is one of his favorite past-times! lol

My Dal-brador Gidget is pretty good too... She tries hard.... but she's too big to get into the tight spaces, so she loses them when they run under things.

LOL! I have an 85 pound Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky/Lab cross who also hunts mice and moles! He is very good at it. You would think he would choose something bigger, though. However, he has cats, so maybe he knows better than to pick on a small animal.
He did, however, nearly get one of my son-in-law's roosters. He pushed past me when I was opening the gate and grabbed that rooster by the neck. I hauled him off and screamed at him and somehow through him out of the pen. He had been stalking around the chicken pen for sometime. I just thought he was curious.

Wait until they bring in a pretty good sized squirrel. Stuffy (my cat) left one half eaten in her room.
