The Sarasota, Fl Education Department posted warnings in every school that Christmas displays are absolutely forbidden. Nothing newsworthy there. Disreputable, deplorable, disgusting, and a lot of other disses, but only of passing interest. Until, that is, we learned that the administrative offices were converted to magnificent seasonal productions requiring thousands of man hours of effort at substantial cost.
How about a link for a reference?
Ditto, this sounds pretty outrageous.
Wish I could offer a link. The story grew out of several interviews I had with teachers and janitorial staff. This is the only published story of which I am aware.
The Sarasota Herald Tribune has been notified but it is extremely unlikely that this TIMES mullet wrapper will pursue the story.
You heard it first here on FR.
We wish you could offer a link as well. And until you do it is not credible.

LOL That is plain silly.
How will a link to anything make my word credible? I stand totally behind my story. Your refusal to acknowledge my credibility is your problem, not mine.
Huh? That means we should beleive anything you post here without a reference? I am not saying it is not true? But please supply proof.
You want proof? Get it yourself. Here is the phone number for the Sarasota Board of Education: 941/927-9000.
Ask the operator if the department offices at The Landings (School Dept Administrative offices) are decorated for Christmas.
Then call any of the schools in the county and ask the operator if there are any Christmas displays in the schools. Be sure to ask why not. I am sure the School Board operator will give you a list of numbers to call.
If my word is so impeachable to you do a little research yourself and quit bickering.
The story is absolutely fabulous and desrves to be posted widely. Prove I am wrong.
PING FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT
Thanks for the ping!
PING
Amos, just tell them it is a prophecy and as such will be true even if not at the moment. :-)
You got me wrong. I don't want to prove you wrong! I want to prove you right.
Amos, you're pinging yourself! Is that what's known as a dingy pingy? LOL!
When you are the original source, what is the credibility issue? What's to be done, if the reporter is not to be trusted, as hinted at by two doubting posters? Precisely what you suggested, I think. You have to find some way to confirm the story yourself, if you can. Send Uncle Elvin and Aunt Iris over to take pictures or something. If the doubters aren't willing to do that, then you have to assume they are simply blowing smoke.
Good post, Amos. Interesting. Thanks for the ping.
Then do it. I have done my homework. Do yours.
