Best Amusement Park Rides (Vanity)
Just Me | 6/11/07 | Just me

What are your favorite/scariest/best amuesement park rides? OR what are some of the lamest out there? My all-time favorite is the "Tower of Terror" at Disney MGM studios. Mixes a cute storyline with a stomach churning drop at the end.

Also, even though the wedgies have to be surgically removed, love the steep slides at the water parks.

Happy summer everyone! :o)

Florida's Lost Tourist Attractions has some of the campy theme parks and rides from old Florida. Fun to remember some of them.

My favorite has to be Star Tours at Disney.

Rode it for the first time in 1987...it still leaves me laughing...took my 4-year old on it on Memorial Day, and he’s still talking about his trip into space.

I will always be partial to the Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, because I remember waiting for years to be tall enough to ride it. When I finally was I didn’t want to be all girly and hold his hand, so he just held up his index finger for me to grab on to if need be.

It was white from lack of circulation at the end of the ride.

Best ride of all time: the now-defunct Texas Cyclone.

Everest is very good! Havent tried Tower of Terror yet. Noone wanted to go with me, so I’ll just have to go it alone.

Everest was great! So is Tower of Terror. The Magnum XL200 and Gemini at Cedar Point are also great classics.

The wooden roller-coaster at Ocean View Amusement Park in Norfolk, VA was the best cheap dates until they blew it up for a made-for-TV movie.

Bumper Cars. The smell of ozone and the knowledge you'll walk away from a full speed head on.

We did Everest and ToT last summer. Both were good, not just for the ride but for all the effects and visuals.

Forgot about Everest, that one is a kick! Especially if you ride up front.
