George Orwell once wrote that politics was closely related to social identity. 'One sometimes gets the impression,' he wrote in The Road To Wigan Pier, 'that the mere words socialism and communism draw towards them with magnetic force every fruit-juice drinker, nudist, sandal-wearer, sex-maniac, Quaker, nature-cure quack, pacifist and feminist in England'.
Orwell was making an observation. But today a whole body of academic research shows he was correct: your politics influence the manner in which you live your life. And the news is not so good for those on the political Left.
There is plenty of data that shows that Right-wingers are happier, more generous to charities, less likely to commit suicide - and even hug their children more than those on the Left. In my experience, they are also more honest, friendly and well-adjusted.
Much of this springs from the destructive influence of modern liberal ideas.
In the Sixties, we saw the beginning of a narcissism and self-absorption that gripped the Left and has not let go.
The full-scale embrace of the importance of self-awareness, self-discovery and being 'true' to oneself, along with the idea that the State should care for the less fortunate, has created a swathe of Left-wing people who want to outsource their obligations to others.

Well, liberalism is a mental disease. Liberals simply want to control you while rightwingers want to enlighten you.
Liberals sure seem more full of hatred than conservatives do. It was fun watching the Dem. primary and see one group claim racism, and other people claim sexism against candidates. It was fun watching the Clintons try to tag Obama as merely a black symbolic candidate, as Jesse Jackson had been years ago.
If they truly believed that we should judge political candidates by the content of character, nothing would have been said in the campaign about Hillary being a woman or Obama being African-American. The subjects simply would not have come up. With each candidate being an allegedly discriminated against minority, those discrimination issues should not have been there. Then it becomes a p((**ssing contest as to who has suffered more, etc. which is completely beside the point anyway.

Liberals are like trolls on the Internet. They believe they can wreak revenge on the sane portion of society.
Liberals are simply all talk and no action. They are the biblical pharisees of our time, displaying an outward type of “fervor” for their beliefs in public, because they think it makes them look morally superior, then in private, not really giving a damn about anything they say in public or backing it up in any real way. They give millions to idiots who throw feces at a canvas and call the end result “art,” while not giving anything out of their own wallets to the truly needy in the world. They are truly warped individuals.

Libs care more about being ‘hip’ and ‘cool’ and doing whatever is fashionable at the moment.
Conservatives care more about what’s right and honorable. -These are interpreted by the left as ‘rules’ which they need to rebel against and break. -Before they stop to think about whether it’s in their best interest or not...

2. Left-wingers have so much love for themselves and government, they don’t need God.
3. Left-wingers understand that the whole country should love them enough to care for their every need.
4. Left-wingers love babies too much to bring them into the world.
5. Left-wingers love children so much that they believe only government is qualified to raise them.
6. Left-wingers love their parents too much to submit them to their personal care.
7. Left-wingers love old and crippled people too much to encourage them to live.
8. Left-wingers love criminals too much to punish or obstruct them from engaging in their life-long professions.
9. Left-wingers equate love with more things: sex, money, gift-cards, abortions, etc.
10. Left-wingers promote more opportunities to love: multiple partners, same sex, magazines, videos, inanimate objects, animals, small-children, etc.
