Some, me included, regard the current BLM/Antifa protesting as nearly 100% mindless. It was only a matter of time before the animals would come for the founding fathers. Confirmed: Thomas Jefferson statue at Jefferson High School in Portland torn down. You can see the words “Slave Owner” painted where it once stood. #statue #LiveOnK2 #portlandprotest pic.twitter.com/bt5zdBgkQO— Genevieve Reaume (@GenevieveReaume) June 15, 2020 And something like this was expected. On June 10, 1964, Everett Dirksen (R-IL), the Republican Leader in the U.S. Senate, condemned the Democrats’ 57-day filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Leading the Democrats in their opposition to civil rights for African-Americans was Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV), who got into politics as a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan. At 9:51 on the morning of June 10, 1964, Senator Byrd completed an address that he had begun 14 hours and 13 minutes earlier. Democrats still call Robert Byrd “the conscience of the Senate.”

This could be the biggest display of chutzpah since the guy convicted of offing his parents pleaded for mercy on the basis of being an orphan. MSNBC's Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough had the gall Monday morning to condemn President Trump over an Epstein conspiracy theory, despite having floated a bizarre one himself. Shortly after the news of Epstein's death became public on Saturday morning, Scarborough took to Twitter: "A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives ends up dead in his jail cell. How predictably ... Russian. He reportedly tried to kill himself...

PC FBI: In another example of just how broken the FBI is after eight years of Left-wing politicization by Barack Obama, Eric Holder, and Loretta Lynch, a damning new report documents how the New Mexico police were forced to step up and take down a suspected terrorist training camp after the bureau delayed, demurred, and stalled. Islamic extremist Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was arrested last week at a compound in New Mexico. He was allegedly training children to commit school shootings. Siraj ibn Wahhaj is the son of a Brooklyn imam who was named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993...

Today's hearing for sentencing of Todd Engel after his conviction last year in a rigged trial, the first Bunkerville Standoff trial, resulted in a jail sentence. In the end Engel was given a 14-year sentence by US District Judge Gloria Navarro, even though his trial involved the rigged process of evidence proving his innocence being kept from judge and jury during his first trial. The courtroom was filled with government law enforcement and supporters of Todd Engel with federal law enforcement reported to be playing the role of "victims" of the 2014 Bunkerville Standoff. On June 8th it was posted on this blog that the office of White House Counsel Don McGahn had a request for the pardon of Dwight and Steven Hammond under review. This was reported by Portland media outlet KATU. Yesterday Congressman Greg Walden of Oregon, the Republican who represents the Hammonds in Congress, finally stood up on the House floor and called for their pardon. The Associated Press quoted Walden as saying: "It's time for real justice, and President Trump can administer that." Politicians don't stick their necks out and Congressman Walden's decision to speak now reinforces my sense that...

The Syrian Army has followed up on its successful advance in the northeastern Daraa region with a new line of attack just east of the city of Daraa. This attack could cut off jihadist forces south of the first line of attack from the Jordanian border and or resupply from Daraa. The successful attack in the northeast is reported to have captured equipment and ammunition stocks from the jihadist forces. Among the captured equipment were five tanks. Opposition forces say refugees have fled the fighting southwards towards the Jordanian border. On Wednesday June 27th Russian and Syrian air attacks were...

As I read the headline on the Democrats’ new slogan, “A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future,” I couldn’t help but wonder who would fall for a party with a “lipstick on a pig” mentality. The party is what it is and no amount of PR, marketing or rebranding is going to change who it is and for what it stands. Maybe more importantly, the Democrats can’t market their way out of the sheer contempt many of us feel toward its party. Schumer and Pelosi can talk until they’re blue in the face, and they still are going...

If you have experienced tremendous adversity within this past year, how would you react at the thought of Giving Thanks? While many people would try to focus on what happened to them, and why, how would you cope with adverse circumstances, and hardships? In this special Thanksgiving edition of Making Sense with Rob Case, we look at the life of the Apostle Paul, who had experienced so many difficulties, adverse circumstances, and hardships that would, upon a close, contemplative look, make ours pale by comparison. And amidst everything Paul went through, he was able to tell the people of Thessalonica,...

THE daughter of hate cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed is a POLE DANCER, The Sun can reveal. Busty Yasmin Fostok, 27, leads a secret life after rebelling against her fanatical Muslim dad — who rants against Western “depravity”. She has performed in London pole dancing bars and gyrated half-naked in cages at club nights. And she admitted: “I’m willing to go topless if the venue is right.” Yasmin, a party-loving girl who quit the family home in North London four years ago, added: “I don’t get on with my dad.” Bakri, 50 — in Lebanon after being kicked out of Britain...

US presidential race hopeful Sarah Palin can trace her family tree back to 18th century NORWICH, historians revealed last night. The Vice-President candidate’s great, great, great, great, great grandfather Robert Gower was baptised in the Norfolk city in 1723, according to ancestry.co.uk. Gower, who is from her mum’s side of the family, then left for the US in the 18th Century, and his son James was born in Maine. Mum-of-five Palin, 44, dubbed the Republican Pitbull in Lipstick, also claims an Irish connection, like Democrat rival Barack Obama.

Don't listen to the liberals - Right-wingers really are nicer people, latest research shows George Orwell once wrote that politics was closely related to social identity. 'One sometimes gets the impression,' he wrote in The Road To Wigan Pier, 'that the mere words socialism and communism draw towards them with magnetic force every fruit-juice drinker, nudist, sandal-wearer, sex-maniac, Quaker, nature-cure quack, pacifist and feminist in England'. Orwell was making an observation. But today a whole body of academic research shows he was correct: your politics influence the manner in which you live your life. And the news is not so...

A girl of 12 brought up by her parents on a strict vegan diet has been admitted to hospital with a degenerative bone condition said to have left her with the spine of an 80-year-old. Doctors are under pressure to report the couple, from Glasgow, to police and social workers amid concerns her health and welfare may have been neglected in pursuit of their beliefs. The youngster, fed on a strict meat- and dairy-free diet from birth, is being treated at the city’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children. She is said to have a severe form of rickets and to...

After a nightmare evening trapped between two egos, Sabine Durrant set out to discover when and why men started boring for Britain Recently, at a friend's 40th birthday dinner, I sat between an advertising executive who expounded on his son's musical talent and academic promise, and a commercial lawyer who was keen to drum home the possessive in the phrase "my team". 'There seem to be genuinely primitive pairings between vivacious, chatty women and men who are the opposite' By pudding, I wanted to push back my chair and introduce them. "John, meet Josh. You've a lot in common. He's...

Conservative bloggers and talk radio hosts have noticed the rash of gaffes — some goofy, some more serious — emanating from Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama lately, but the mainstream media’s coverage of Obama’s bouts with foot-in-mouth disease has been sparse, to say the least. In the case of one of Obama’s more recent gaffes, however, a CNN reporter did Obama the favor of editing the gaffe right out of his story. On Monday, Obama weirdly talked about honoring the nation’s “unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience today.” In a report...
