Flier: (The Problem with Obama and the Democrat Party)

The following is a flier which I am printing up and plan to distribute. The titles are in 12-point as are the two url strings and the two url strings are bolded. Everything else is 10-point; formatted like that and with margins backed up just a little, I get two per page and can slice them down the middle, very inexpensive at ten cents a page at Kinkos/Fedex:

The problems with Barrack Obama and the Democrat party start with money. The democrat party claims to be the party of the common man and yet their two main pillars of financial support are the trial lawyers’ guild and government workers’ unions, particularly the NEA. The interests of these two groups are very far from those of the common man.

The only thing Democrats really claim to be good at is representing victims or victim groups and they seek to create victims where nature does not provide any. Poverty is not needed for this sort of victim status; some of these “victims” are well off and as you might expect, the interests of these groups conflict with each other more often than not.

Minority children are the main victims of the NEA/government school system; democrats and their NEA affiliates fight every sort of school choice initiative tooth and nail. We all pay for democrat vote-buying schemes such as FANNIE MAE and FREDDIE MAC and for democrat overseas fundraising efforts like Chinagate. All of those things arise from pandering to unions and special interests as opposed to having a real constituency. The financial meltdown you have been reading about is a nearly pure Democrat Scandal ( http://tinyurl.com/4jlzy6 ).

But the biggest problem is with the environmentalists, whose interests are ideological and conflict with those of the rest of the human race generally. These people have stymied every effort to develop new energy sources in America over the last 40 years and actually WANT gasoline to cost $8 or $10 a gallon and energy concerns aren’t all of it. Their banning of the super pesticide DDT has resulted in over 90,000,000 needless deaths and ten or fifteen times that number of ruined lives over the last 35 years ( http://www.junkscience.com/ddtfaq.html ). People living in Africa and other tropical zones comprise most of the victims. The claim that DDT killed hawks and eagles turns out to have been a myth.

The cost of leftist/green “global warming” scare campaigns would be similar to the costs of another world war, and for nothing and it is the poor and poorer countries which would suffer the most. Competent scientists are now claiming that our planet’s long-term weather patterns are entirely determined by solar activity and that man has nothing to do with them.

We will all be victims (real, not imaginary) if Barrack Obama and the people running that Chicago machine and today’s democrat party win this election.

Some good points. If you’re going to circulate this, I’d leave out the global warming bit and put in that MLK was a Republican, and would be very alarmed with Obama and what he stands for. And also that the Democratic Party was the party of slavery and racism. And that many people feel, with good reason, that it still is. (There was a good thread here recently on this topic. Does anyone out there have the link?)
