In the finest tradition of the Democrat Party, the Marxist thugs in MN have demanded that votes keep being counted/invented until Franken was ahead. He is as of this afternoon. Word is that the Dems are now demanding that the vote review be ended with the last batch of manufactured votes and Franken proclaimed the winner.
This leaves the hapless, bed-wetting Republicans without a meaningful seats to fillibuster (they have 41, including several RINOs). What tools are left to the minority to stop destructive, anti-American legislation sure to come? Or is it best to let them run wild, trash the country, and then get even in 2010/2012?

Hey, the Congress in general is a joke these days, why not have a comedian as part of it.
In fact, I think we should get more stand-ups in there. I can just see a Congressman Craig Shoemaker arguing with Nancy Pelosi over some bill. THAT would be great theater. (Anyone who has seen Shoemaker’s act will appreciate this one)

Not many ways to stop the Dems, but some Dems such as Tester of Montana and Nelson of Nebraska at times join with the Republicans, along a few others.
I now know what it must have felt like, for the men on Corregidor.
They knew their position was lost, they watched the hordes approaching, and they knew there was nothing to stop them, and no help would come.
The only course was to surrender, and submit to the coming Death March, knowing that they could not affect the outcome, except that each day they survived was a small victory.
Even with this seat, the lib/dems will be in control of Congress, the executive branch, and (after a few hundred judicial appointments around the country), the judiciary.
This is what happens when conservatives stay home.
Anyone have specifics on the 100 votes “found” that ALL happened to be for Frankin?
