Theyve been in the White House less than a week, but the first daughters have already been co-opted by marketers and Michelle Obama isnt happy about it.
Ty, the toy company responsible for the popular Beanie Babies dolls, is now marketing Sweet Sasha and Marvelous Malia dolls.
The first ladys office said Friday Ty was out of line. We feel it is inappropriate to use young private citizens for marketing purposes, said a spokeswoman for Michelle Obama in a statement.

MFing obama wants to dick around with my life down in the holler, where I dont want to be seen by anyone, but Michelle is all offended when some one complements her kids that she put on a public pedestal.
Eff Michelle Obama
How soon we forget
and because of what Sarah Palin and her family were put through, I’d bet Gov. Palin would be first in line to say ‘lay off the Obama kids!’
What do you mean lay off the Obama kids?
NO ONE EVER has a ripped on these kids
Unlike the Bush Girls
I see it all now.. we wont be ever to ever criticize the Obamas’s because they are this and they are that..
We must be gentle
What did Michelle Obama have to say about Sara Palin's children?
Please post a link.
It is ok if part of the proceeds go to the odumbo reelection campaign I bet
“Send your payment by midnight and we will include a free brochure”
I have no doubt that if Ty were a black owned business or a major donor to boobama’s campaign, you wouldn’t be hearing squat about this.
Speaking of which, Ty can get back to me when they make a Piper doll. That is one CUTE little girl, inside and out from what we saw. Oh, and she'll need to come with a baby brother doll with spit-licked hair.
As for Sweetie and Marvy, the dolls are alright looking but seem to me to have more of an Indian or Paki resemblance than black.
Definatly looking Hindi. My nieces are looking like that.
The little cuties
I think I will order them for my nieces.
I think they are cute.
Michelle is a dipshit
Wonder if this spokeswoman would feel the same way if a Trig doll was made.
Eh.
I would be with her on this one if she had protested when the media mocked Bristol Palin.
Either the kids of candidates and presidents are public, or not.
