If Ty starts to profit from the girls’ likeness, where does it stop? Next thing you know they’ll be “Hannah Montanaized.” It’s the Obamas prerogative to choose not to have that for their own daughters.
Because their parents are our politcal opponents, are we suddenly opposed to parents making decisions for their own kids?
IMO, White House kids should be off limits, period. An occasional photo op should be adequate to satisfy the public’s ‘right to know.’

Sorry Obamas but unless you own the copyright/trademark to the names then there is nothing you can do about it but look petty and small for complaining. If you didn’t want them in the limelight then why did you put them there?

But in all kidding aside, nobody should have their children made into toys. I agree with the Catwoman. (Hehe, I coined that nickname). Children are off limits.

I just hope the Obama girls aren’t exploited. The Ty dolls/beanie babies are meant to be complimentary, I agree. And it may well be that the Obamas and their daughters will become role models and set a family-centered stereotype for the African American community that has been lost over the past few generations. That is all to the good.
It’s just where it goes from there that would have any mother concerned.
