Two New York City fried chicken restaurants in predominantly black neighborhoods are under fire for putting President Barack Obama's name on their signs.
City Councilman Charles Barron said Friday that he will organize a demonstration next week outside Obama Fried Chicken in his Brooklyn district. Organizers said they may also target Obama Fried Chicken & Pizza in Harlem.

I don’t really see any of this as racist.
Everyone is cashing in on the name.
Perhaps it is criminal to exploit the obamatards in such a manner.
As soon as all de hands dat be needin greasin, get greased ... de be no mo trouble with the name on the chicken house.
Obama chicken is the part that goes over the fence last.
Throw in some water melon and thenthey’ll feel better about it.
Just a guess, but these places are probably owned by recent immigrants.
i hear the serve wonderful deep fried oreo cookies
You'd think the people supporting the great and powerful O would eagerly support such a business.
The chicken being served in those restaurants has more brains than Charles Barron. Beware of idiots leading other idiots.
I guess all the important issues before the New York City Council have been resolved to Councilman Barron's satisfaction.
Wish I had time to get involved in such minutia.
Well, according to Wiki (yes I know):

~snips~
Peach pudding à la Cleveland Grover Cleveland (18371908), 22nd and 24th U.S. president, was given this dish by Charles Ranhofer, who may have felt presidents deserved desserts named after them as much as Escoffier’s ladies, even if Cleveland was reputed to not much like French food.
*
Apricots with rice à la Jefferson Thomas Jefferson (17431826), third U.S. president, is honored appropriately with this Ranhofer dessert and with Jefferson rice, a recently developed strain of Texas rice.
*
Ronald Reagan’s Hamburger Soup Ronald Reagan, while President, had this recipe issued publicly in 1986, after he had gotten flak for saying he liked French soups.
*
Big Hearted Al candy bar early-20th-century presidential candidate Al Smith (18731944) had this candy bar named after him by a candy-company owning admirer.
Amazingly, "Undercover Brother" a few years ago was about a plot to force the first black man to run for president to drop out and open up a chain of fried chicken stands...
I thought it was an honor to have a place named after you! Why they want to name bridges, lakes, waterways, banks, insurance companies after the One! It should be considered an honor.
Or the owner had no idea that in 2009, if you’re not in the right victim group, anything you say or do, or don’t say or do, can and will be taken as racist.
Didn’t the White House issue an Executive Order in order to limit ones ability to market images/names of the Obamas for monetary gain? I thought he did that shortly after being inaugurated. I think it had to something to do with the dolls of the two daughters that were being marketed. Oh wait, dat was probably only against dem white folkses. Pardon me.
"...It was a throwback back to the late '80s, when PA and Durham Committee leaders met regularly at a Fayetteville Street restaurant to compare agendas and shore each other up on common ground. They called them "the Chicken-Hut meetings." .."
Someone needs to tell the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People they can't use the word 'chicken.' That's racist.
I dont see the problem, Just rename it Hussein’s chicken.
That's "ex"-Black Panther Charles Barron...
Charles Barron: My immediate response is "take off the ex," because Im still a Panther at heart. And Im proud to be a Panther because the Black Panther Party fed children breakfast. It had a clothing drive for struggling people in our communities. It led the research drive around sickle cell anemia, a rare blood disease peculiar to black people. As far as the guns and the actions with the police, that wasnt even a major part of our program. That was for self-defense against police brutality.

From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES
"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo.
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."
