I am SO sick of these self-righteous “adopt-adopt-adopt” people in the last 20 years since Greyhound “rescues” cropped up. And then they act like KGB if you dare try to “adopt” 1 of these dogs of unknown origin. There is a tendency for a snobby attitude about these dogs needing more help than a puppy of known properties.
If anything, I’d’ve been on the woman for giving a dog to a jerk like that. I’d not want anything to do with a political hack.
I am involved in rescue as a foster home, but I honestly agree with you. It sometimes seems it may be easier to adopt a child than a dog from some of these rescues. They act like they want people to adopt, but they make it nearly impossible.
