ORLANDO, Fla. -- Superman swooped in just in time.

Dwight Howard scored 10 points in overtime and the Orlando Magic, raining down 3-pointers like a Florida thunderstorm, withstood 44 points and a last-second shot by LeBron James for a 116-114 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

I don’t waste my time with Obama voters be it Hollywood or the NBA.

Hey, there are usually a fair number of conservatives in pro-sports. NBA maybe skewed a bit because of the high % of blacks. But even old Karl Malone is a GOPer.

The “LeBron Obama” thing is nonsensical and uncalled for.

Don’t blame me for his political leanings. I guess he doesn’t mind parting with more of his $$$

“Denver was the more aggressive team...”

I don't say this because the N(th)uggs beat the Mavs to a pulp.I say this because I have watched the sport for years. It has deteriorated from a game of team work and finesse..to bullying, flopping and ref compliance.
:)
I quit watching football for the same reason.

What's left?? Ping Pong???

Basically, who give a damn. It’s basketball. A bunch of skinny, ugly athletes in baggy shorts.

Wake me up when it’s football season. Football is life.

So was Chucky Barkley on the right er or he changed his ‘mind’.

btw....Too bad you can’t take your coach back. The Trail Blazers need some new talent at the top.

I know....If Nate stays on as long as he did in Seattle, Portland may not have a team left either. Might not be a bad thing after all.

I haven’t watched an NBA game in several years. Basketball officiating is too biased towards the stars and the big market teams.

Nah...even though this may sound like sacrilege..football is no different. Pro athletes are all a bunch of thugs as well. I have issues with it.

Signed,

A Fellow Texan

I was a big fan way back when but I haven’t payed the NBA much attention since ‘74.... when the GREAT Jerry West hung ‘em up.

Cleveland took a gamble early in the series, and it has been a disaster.

By over focusing on Howard, they are playing Orlando’s game. Cleveland conceded the pace and control of the game to the Magic. Mike Brown is making Stan Van Gundy look way too good.

Cleveland is getting out played and out coached.

LeBron seems to be a stand up guy and a team player. a natural leader at the same time.

I, too, think the “LeBron Obama” line was uncalled for.

Great series! Two evenly matched teams, neither of which I care much about, each game down to the wire!
