Now that the people of the United States have broken down an ethnic barrier and elected Barack Hussein Obama as the first Afro-Arab-American President (1) perhaps it is time to look for a more conventional American as the next President. Of course Mr. Obama is an African-American but he is Afro-Arab recalling that some 48% of the African continent is Islamic (462 million people) and about a dozen African countries have ethnic Arab majorities and many more with sizable Arab minority population; Kenya for instance

I have no problem with JC watt’s race, but his wishy washness last fall caused me to lose a lot of respect for him.

I do not think the American people will ever elect another black man to the presidency ever again after Obummer even if that man was as far right conservative as they come and that is unfortunate. I think Obummer has irrevocably damaged the possibility of a black man or woman from ever achieving the presidency again. No American would trust such a person ever again IMHO.

No way. He said he was thinking about voting for Obama last fall - or at least wouldn’t rule it out, IIRC. Sorry. Lost all respect for the man then.

Eight-year former Congressman? Forget it. Watts should have been GOP Chairman, IMO.

While I love and respect J.C.. America won’t
make the black boo-boo again for a while.

Kidding.

J.C. would be great.

giggers hate him.

That’s like saying no white man could ever get elected after Nixon.

I refuse to believe the American people would be shallow enough to indict an entire race based on the performance of one person. Elections are about politics, not ethnicity.

IMO.

I remember Hannity would always have him on and asked him about Wright, Ayers-- and Watts would always dismiss it.

I’ve been a JC Watts fan for years.

That said, he jumped the shark when he came out for 0bama. He’d have to start fresh in Congress or as Governor and prove himself “rehabilitated” to get my vote.

I’ve always liked Watts. The guy is tough and won’t back down from a fight. Having said that, I’m still pissed at him for saying, prior to the election, that he might vote for Zero. Give me a break.

Yeah, and putting him in the same category as the traitor Colin Powell. Is this not the same JC Watts who was tending to backed 0bama, the most hard line leftest that has ever run for president in this country, just because 0bama was black and JC Watts was black too?
Last thing we need is yet another black racist as president of this country. Worst idea I ever heard in a long time.

Not much trail-blazing done actually. We've elected socialists before. They all look the same to me. A halfrikken American socialist might be unique in that regard though. I guess.

Keyes has my vote. He has a better understanding of history and the Constitution.

Also seems to be one of few that have guts to convey both.

“It’s about time someone was talking about Watts!!!”

Yessir! It sure is! Let’s talk about his voting for Zero just because he’s black! Let’s talk about him, as recent as about a month ago, on a phone call to Hannity’s show, refusing to criticize Zero! Talk about a Rino?! Talk about a PRETEND Conservative?! Talk about Colin Powell lite?! That’s J. C. Watts, now that he has shown his true colors. No pun, or racism, intended!

If you’re looking for a POTENTIAL candidate who truly IS a Conservative, and who truly IS Pro-Life.....don’t overlook Rick Santorum.

“Elections are about politics, not ethnicity.”

I'll believe that when I see an honest spread of black voters. This last election proved that it was about ethnicity to many people. That said I do agree that a good CONSERVATIVE black guy (or gal)could still pull conservative voters, but the racists in the Dem party would do a Palin on him/her. They (the Dems) can't stand the thought of us running a woman and you can bet they feel ever stronger about us running a black person. I can't really hope for such a person as I know it would be absolutely horrific for their family.
