I saw him “in concert” here in LA before he became ... uh, famous. It was at a little cabaret in the parking lot of the Hollywood Ranch Market grocery.

I was really young at the time, 3, and I used to do a little jig to the song “Tip toe through the tullips” thank God my parents could not afford a movie camera.

Believe it or not, Tiny TIm was a walking encyclopaedia of early American Music. The repository of music in his brain would probably rival the LIbrary of Congress. But, Yeah, he was a bit weird looking and that high falsetto voice was the capper...
