This was last year’s float. I was hoping for something new.
I can’t read what’s on her headband, but the circle of stars around the “WE TOO” on her shirt might indicate it’s supposed to represent the European Union?
This must be the same German parade that had a float years ago of Slick Willie and the Statue of Liberty in a rather compromising position...

My take:
Young Miss Europe is being taken for a ride with the 'messiah'.
Fasching (carneval) floats are politically satirical/cynical.
The Germans find it hard to believe that Americans were naive enough to vote for Obama, and are spoofing their youth who went along for the ride as well.

This float was featured in a February 2009 German carnival parade. The caption mentions that the blonde girl depicts Europe.
