Then the LORD said to Moses, "Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants. Exodus 33:1 Maybe PCUSA should cut off aid to the One who gave it to them. Oh, He probably doesn't need any.

and what of the “Reverend” Wright and his ilk?
What gets me is how many folks hide behind “Christian” titles.
Just pay attention to what they do, and you find their true colors.
Remember the Indonesian floods, the Jamacian earthquake? Who what there? Was it Liberal Presbyterians? Black Power Churches? Gay Rights Churches? Universalists? etc?

I was “born” Catholic. To escape post-war Europe my parents became Presbyterian.
Now - I'm in the witness protection program.

clever lasses, these Presbo’s.
Yesterday they green light perversion, and today they diss Israel.
At session’s end, they will, in unison, extend their middle fingers toward heaven and curse the living God.

Lurk, I was very sad to see your post and slur against Presbyterians, even conservative Presbyterians such as myself in the PCA. Such slanders are beneath the common discourse.
These days, such discourse is seen akin to racism and is regrettable. For the Lord Jesus Christ has called us to "live in peace with all men" and to "love one another as I have loved you".
Such hatred is reprehensable just is hatred especially toward people of Jewish heritage.
Please be mindful of the rules of this blog:
NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts

The reformed theologian does not believe that God has any future plans for the nation of Israel, but rather the Church has replaced Israel as the receiver of Gods covenant blessing.
It doesn't matter to them if Israel ceases to exist as a nation ... in fact, they would welcome it as confirmation of their theological view.

Thanks for posting that... this kinda garbage is exactly why there’s a PCA today... and the PCA founders recognized this and acted on it about 30 years ago.

I go to a Presbyterian church, and this decision in no way reflects my personal views. Let me try rephrasing your statement in another context and see if this plays: "I vote for Democrat candidates, but their policies to support gays, invasive government, gun-grabbing, and a liberal agenda in no way reflects my personal views."
As a member of this forum, would that make sense to you?

30 years ago... typo... closer to 40 years ago officially, and a lot longer than that in laying the groundwork.
