A Mankato couple have been charged with repeatedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl who was staying with them.
The Free Press of Mankato says 27-year-old Raymond Jay Schroer and 24-year-old Katherine Lynn Olson were each charged Friday with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Prosecutors say the girl had been staying with the couple since June. The girl told police she loved the couple and that they all planned to live together when she was old enough.

Pretty soon a judge will rule this is legal anyway.
Don’t click that link. There’s guilty, and then there’s guilty.
Of course, a judge in California would probably say it is OK for all three to get married.
The likelihood is that the kid is a runaway.
The reason for leaving could be anything from neglect or abuse, to a drug habbit.
Usually the parents are less than stellar, but not always and certainly there is not always criminal behavior in the parents of runaways.
If the girl was sexually abused as a prepubescent, there is also a good possibility that she ran away to indulge an adult stength libido restrained by a child strrength will power.
The possibilities here are endless.
What is certain is that the couple are adults, and are culpable whether the child was willing or not.
And the girl needs help.
Thankful to see that we don’t have any friends in common. What a sick pair. And who messed up this 15-year-old that she thought this was okay?

I think you are probably correct. People who violate the trust of a child are evil.
Charges against Katherine will be dropped, but Raymond’s in trouble.
