Three people - one of them a 71-year-old woman - were attacked by at least one dog that was running loose through Golden Gate Park early Thursday, police said.

The woman, identified as Bela Martin, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with bites on her lower legs and was in fair condition, said Rachael Kagan, a spokeswoman for the hospital.

Everyone should carry a weapon. I NEVER go for a walk without at least pepper spray.

“He did not know what prompted the officers to fire.” Yeah, right.

Police initially reported that two dogs captured in the incident had bitten the victims, but the city's Animal Care and Control agency later said one of the animals - an unneutered male pit bull - was believed to be responsible for all the bites.

The one that attacked apparently was a pit.

I always carried a knife when I lived in San Francisco. I’m not saying it would prevent a dog attack, but I could certainly give him something to think about while he was chewing.

THE REASON I finally left San Francisco was because the flaming idiot electorate actually banned my handguns, even as the legal staff of San Fransico told the City Council that the law would be over turned by the courts.

Since leaving, I often look hopefully toward the 8.0 magnitude earthquake that will carry Baghdad by the Bay back down to the depths of the sea and rid my Communist state of its most insidious cancer.

I so hate San Francisco.

San Francisco has been such a disappointment. When it goes down I hope it take Nazi Pelosi with it.

God will take care of His creation and that is not good news for San Francisco or the US. We are exporting the San Francisco disease all over the world.
