This is not a thread for light browsing. This will wear out anyone, links that make me wish I were twenty people at once.
Here are some research aids:

“Joe Joe Jallah said he met the man diagnosed with Ebola, Thomas Eric Duncan, last week when visiting Jallahs former wife, Louise Troh, the same woman Duncan had come to see in the U.S... Jallah left to go to work, but returned the next day after his daughter, who lives with Troh, called, sounding frantic, saying that Duncan was still ill.” [snip]

“Five members of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department who were briefly inside the apartment where a man with Ebola stayed have been temporarily put on leave.”
They’re very concerned,” said Christopher Dyer, president of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Association. “Their families are concerned. You’ve got to go home and tell your spouse, ‘Hey, I was just inside this house where a guy had Ebola.’”
The three deputies, a sergeant, and a lieutenant accompanied the head of Dallas County Health and Human Services Department and a doctor into the apartment late Wednesday night. They had gone there on the orders of Sheriff Lupe...

...viruses mutate and change...
She reported that Canadian health advisories on the virus scrubbed their mentions of the potential for airborne transmission of the virus even though the data did not change, I printed out the Canadian public health advisory back in June. There is a statement in their report that airborne transmission was strongly suspected based upon the 2012 Canadian study with a transmission between two species... that were not in physical contact I just re-printed the Canadian advisory this week, lo and behold, that statement has been taken out the medical data did not change, she said.

Everyone please remember that the greatest ‘conspiritor’ is the Almighty.

Thinking like a chess player, I suspect that Obama is waiting for panic to reach critical mass. Then he can give FEMA more draconian power under an ‘Ebola Tzar’.
Why We Cannot Trust the White House on Ebola

[Although I believe he won’t want any crisis to go to waste.]
The apathy in America coupled with the MEDIA MISINFORMATION is why no one seems to care about the Ebola outbreak...
The empty suit speaks and they listen, it’s just the strangest thing.
I am glad to see Leon Panetta step up and say Obama chose not to get the status agreement in Iraq using our funding as leverage, and not that Maliki would not give it. I guess we will soon hear more of the democrats opening up about advice that was never taken by the Liar in Chief.
Gorbee Logan, a doctor in rural Liberia, has given at least 15 Ebola patients lamivudine, which is considered a long-term and effective drug to treat HIV patients. All but two of them survived, Logan told CNN last week.
Fascinating. Thank you for adding that here. And God bless you Aussies!
I hear that Australia is sending ground forces against ISIS now. I apologize on behalf of Obama that we are not joining with you.
God bless you, Kackikat. I think people are swamped with too many distractions. And they are conditioned to vote on instinct and hunches rather than through actual research.
I tested out new shockers to people, and they simply refused to believe that such reports were true.
Look at the ‘rapper’ kids [of all races BTW]. They give themselves no time to actually think. Some play rap while doing homework. I can’t imagine living that way. But then there’s a TV blaring in the living room, cars passing by with window-rattling base. That’s the life of many city kids and even many suburbs.
Actually, I did live in apartments, so I know first hand how difficult it is to think in such a world.
People need to get away from the noise, not a vacation, but maybe some long walks in quiet without the chaos. Minds need peace to think....regroup, and make better decisions.
Thanks.
