Video at this site - according to the reporter this happened at two malls.
P.S. Yeah, it was the Amish at it again.

Other than over-priced hype my major complaint with footwear like this is the tops and sides wear out/off before the bottoms ever do. My Skechers (more than one pair)look immaculate on the bottoms but ragged out elsewhere.

Few years back, I bought a sorry pair of tennis shoes at Walmart for about $9.95, had florescent green stripes all over them. Black dude asked me what they were and where he could get a pair. He was not happy when I told him.

Town East mall is little more than a gang hang out.
Shop there at your own risk.

Is there any one predominant RACE amongst these troubled consumers? If so, which?

I used to be a store manager for Footlocker in Toledo, Ohio. Back in ‘01 or ‘02 we had a extremely “sought after” Jordan sneaker come out. So, we planned on opening the store early to get the rush out of the way, however, when we arrived at the store at around 7am, there were already about 300 people crammed around our gate in what must have been an area no bigger than a hundred square feet. We only had 24 pairs, by the way. We actually never got the chance to open the store because they wouldn’t even move out of the way for us to open the gate to be able to get in. The police arrived and started threatening to pepper spray everyone if they wouldn’t move. No one moved, they simply put their shirts or hoodies over their faces and stood where they were. It was the same at every other show store that was in the mall that had these Jordans. So, the mall manager decides to close the mall down for the day since no one could open up. All hell broke lose. Before you knew it, there were trash cans going through glass store fronts, fires being started in corners and trashcans and all out brawls everywhere you looked. We had to get escorted out of the mall by the police, who did NOTHING ELSE about it except watch. My district manager called me and wanted me to go back in, despite police warnings to the contrary, to see if the store was secure. In case you don’t know, Footlocker employees where very distinctive referee outfits and stand out like a sore thumb. I had to put one of my employees jackets on to disguise myself. I get to the gate to make sure everything is ok, and suddenly I was ambushed from behind. Not by any thug but by the local media wanting the scoop. So, thanks to them, all the thugs caught on to who I was and I had to hightail it out of there as fast as I could through the back door. Needless to say, I don’t work for Footlocker anymore after I had been threatened and attacked numerous times by “customers” and, besides, I have a hard time dying for a Nike shirt or pair of shoes.

Yes, they were predominately all the same race. I’m sure you can guess which.
